In 1949, many soldiers came to Taiwan, but they did not have place to live, so Madame Chiang Kai-shek proposed an advice to government to build places let the soldiers live. So Luguang 3nd Village was built, and others were building during 1964-1966. The house owners were decided on a ballot.
At that time, the insides of buildings of the patterns in Luguang 3nd Village were delivered into B, C and D three Kinds. There was only a room in kind of B, and there were two rooms in kind of C. There was no room in kind of D.
The buildings were constructions of woods, brick, mud, Bamboo strips, straws and tiles in the military dependants' villages. They were single-story houses and structural materials were simple, so buildings were not concrete.
The style of structure was near Chinese’s. Due to they were made of mud and Bamboo strips, people felt much cooler inside but soundproof effects were quite worse. And each building is near, so residents had much more human touch there.
