At first I didn’t know it was possible for the unsighted to play baseball, but this experience has changed my impression. My dad is very into MLB games, I think he might be able to join the baseball team (Beep Baseball Association). Also, if there is a web project competition next year, I’ll participate the competition again, because it allows me to visit many places and has broadened my vision. |

Yen-Ching is a good friend of mine, so when she invited me to join the CyberFair project, I immediately said yes. Before taking part in the project, I didn’t realize how inconvenient life would be for the blind. This experience has helped me understand how difficult it is for the blind to go out. What impressed me the most was the visit to Beep Baseball Association. I personally played baseball with them and realized how difficult it was to play baseball in the darkness. When I’m in the 6th grade, I hope the teacher will let me join CyberFair competition again. |

The project not only gave me the chance to visit many places for interviews, but also changed my outlook on many ideas. I used to wonder if the blind could really play baseball, massage, or open a juice bar. CyberFair has answered all the questions. Since I had so much fun, I wish to join the competition again next year. |

Before I joined this CyberFair project, I had always thought blind people were burdens for others. This experience has changed my ideas on them. Being blind isn’t what they expect to have; they want to do things like normal people. We should be more caring. If there are similar activities to help the minorities, I’ll definitely join them and help bring light to the dark. |

I used to think it was sad to be blind, because there wasn’t much for the blind to do. That’s why I joined the project, wishing to find a way to help them. This experience has changed my thoughts. Blind people are like those who can see, some are even better at sports. After the visit to Beep Baseball Association, I found it’s fun hanging out with the blind. I want to join the project again next year, because it was an interesting experience for me. |

The most unforgettable part of the experience is the interviews. Many blind friends were happy to be interviewed by us, such as Mr. Chiu, Auntie Chang, Uncle Tsao, and Sister Hsiao Chen. They all have taught me a lot of things that I didn’t know before. |

I was invited to join the project because I knew how to make animation. Before I joined the team, I used to think blind people were pitiful. Now I know a lot of the essentials in their life are way more expensive. The most interesting is the time we visited Beep Baseball Association. It was amazing that they could actually hit the ball without seeing it. |

It was the first time I ever joined a web project competition, so I wanted to give it a try. Before I joined the team, I thought blind people could not type. Now I know they have their own braille writers. The loss of eyesight causes many inconveniences. I believe more people should help if they see people in need on the street. Also, after knowing all these blind people, I know they never give up. We should be more supportive of them. |

I joined the team because I wanted to know more about blind people. Although interviews were tiring, they were all precious experiences for me. I’ve come to know more about tools that help to build a barrier-free environment, and I’ve known how blind people play baseball. I think we should try our best to help them improve the quality of life. |
