Chen Guan-Syue Chen Guan-Syue, living in Pingtung, was born in Republic 23 years. He had tried writing prose before at the age of thirty,but he gave up writing later. However, he regained creation at the age of forty-seven. The followings were about his literary works. His essays contained “Salty Zone” and "Father and Daughter”, etc. There was the enthusiasm for Taiwan in his style, so that he could make people who had read his works sensational and could not stop trembling. |

Chen Jing-Rong Chen Jing-Rong (1934～), who studied mural in university, had been a professor in college. He had published twelve books of "Chen Jing-Rong’s poems”， and fourteen books of "Sketch” and”Mural”， three essays of "Worries and Slience”. His literary works had been exhibited in important museum in no mater which aboard or domestic ones and had been given as many awards as the stars in the sky. He had showed mosaic works "Family”to Pope and had even been received and blessed by Pope himself. It is really a rare and shocking glory. |

Lin Sian-Long Lin Sian-Long, who lived in Chiangchun township, Tainan city, was born in 1948. He is the rural child who comes from the Salty Zone. On one hand, he had been the sailor for several years. For the reason, he has bold and romantic literature of marine features. On the other hand, the breeding of Taiwan's native literature make him continually trace and look for source of his life. He blended his antecedent and the history of the land. And he also merges the spirit of the sea and the countryside of the complex. He has the vision of pastoral style and romantic ocean spirit. |

Li Bo-Yuan Li Bo-Yuan, who was born in 1963, graduated from art department in 1961. And then he worked as a teacher in each junior high school in Taiwan. In this period, he had continued painting and learning calligraphy until now. After retiring form teaching in 1988, he lived in New York and Paris to make his concept of art and vision of creative more wide and mature. And he lives in Paris now. His practice for decades makes him very compassionate and generous , and he never seems to get angry over. His works have been taken in person exhibitions and replace country to join Art Exhibition in Asia. He published “Paintings of Bo Yuan Li”. He had lived in New York for three years. Now, he has lived in Paris for nineteen years. He thanks for very good environment of art created form France.

Huang Cai-Song Huang Cai-Song（1951~）, who lives in Hsikang township, never forgets this land which he grew since he was a child although he learned, taught, and created in Taipei. He came back to look for the theme of nature and humanities. He has got National Literature Award for works of”The Forest of Salty Zone”. Besides writing, he taught art in his free time. He graduated from the art department. He is a representative painter of modern ink painter in the domestic. He continuously got the best writer for three years in 1981 from each essay of forest. In 1985, he was the judge of competition, and he held the first personal exhibition at the same time. He also was an originator at a sensational exhibition with celebrities. |

Luo Cing-Yun Luo Cing-Yun（1934~1995）, who lives in Hsuehchia town, had ever held personal exhibition National History Museum. His works are collected by Taipei Art Museum. He is an important western painter in the country.

Yan Shuei-Long Yan Shuei-Long（1903~1997）is an ancestor of oils and a pioneer of crafts in Taiwan. He, Liao, Ji-Chun, and Guo Bo-Chuan are all called the representatives of the most active western paintesr in Tainan when dominated by Japan. |
