Last Saturday, I got up early regularly. I had such an excited feeling about going to Shiang Yu Museum to make a interview report for CyberFair 2012. My job is to record all the process during our team interviewed the Shiang Yu Museum's founder, Lin Jin Huei. On the bus, I was so excited. Looking at the beautiful view outside the window, and I knew that Shiang Yu Museum would appear soon.

Around fifteen minutes, I saw a such beautiful white piano. Yes, it was a piano, a huge piano standed in the field. That was Shiang Yu Museum, a piano-liked building. Its unique structure in the field seem to be conspicuous, but it was so amazing.
To approach the Museum, I found it was really had artistic atmosphere, whether exterior or interior. It was really a beautiful building. I liked the piano lid. Staying there and  facing the wind was so great. But I was afraid to fall down.

After a full day of interview, I became realized the construction of Shiang Yu Museum was so difficult. But Lin Jin-Huei finally stayed over, and now had such a beautiful building, a Museum which could collect so many artifacts.

By the way, I heard that every team that came to Shiang Yu Museum would have a special activity, to clean up the library in the Museum. We seem to be the third or fourth team came here, and I hoped that the activity could be last forever!

Finally, that day I got lots of experience that I haven't seen before. It may be that I rarely came to the countryside. Its atmosphere was different from the city. Kind of quiet without complicated feeling was the treasure here. It made people relaxed. 〈Top〉

Last Saturday morning, it took me half an hour to get to the destination, Shiang Yu Museum. On my way to the museum, I saw large, green rice fields and some scattered farm houses along both sides of the road.  Suddenly, an elegant building was before my sight.  It was the museum, Shiang Yu Museum. Now, I realized, “ Seeing is believing.” There I met the founder, Mr. Lin Jin-Hwei. After interviewing him, I understood it’s a hard job for him to construct the building. I also realized the historical background of the museum and its importance to the local people. It’s a symbol of salty-zone spirit. Mr. Lin made every effort to overcome the difficulties he faced. He didn’t give up. Finally, he made his dream come true. Shiang Yu Museum symbolized the historical and cultural heritage. 〈Top〉

When I first looked at the museum ,which looks like an aircraft carrier in the sea I think it is the most beautiful museum in the whole world. After getting out of the car, I saw an old man sweeping the floor. Suddenly, he came to us and invited us to vernissage the chirography fair. before I walked into the building, I felt it was small for exhibit. But soon, I regretted because there was a little bigger building behind it.

All of us sit on the doorstep waiting for the teacher. Once a second, the teachers came to us, and then we started our meeting for the beginning of the dream and how he built the architecture. We tolk a lot about the masterpieces in the museum and why he wanted to follow his dream to build a museum to improve classicality in the region. After the meeting, we asked some questions of the story of the curator, and he told us much more stories detailed. At noon, teachers treated us a square meal, and some konjac he made .We went to the front of the museum to took pictures for the website.

When we were on the way home, we looked the “piano on the grass” become smaller and smaller outside the window.

The things I learned today were the valuest treasure in the world. In the end, all of us should help our homeland to become better and give a present to our home. We have to take the curator as a goal to do the thing we should do. 〈Top〉

In fact, I’m not the person who is keen on the contest.  But as soon as I heard about the International Cyber Fair, the idea of joining it came into my mind.  I took part in  the team and improved my English ability.  We learned and discussed together. Now, I not only know about the land I live but also have a good experience in this Cyber Fair.〈Top〉

On September 10, we went to Shiang Yu Museum.  In order to make a wonderful interview report, I have prepared it for several days.  Before arriving at Shiang Yu Museum, I was abnormally excited.  On the way to the museum, I saw a lot of beautiful scenery. This made me experience the culture of this salty zone at first.  And then, we finally got to this museum.  The museum is full of the local particularities.  We saw a variety of the works of the local artists.  It is rich in the breath of literature.  The modeling of it is also very unique.  I like it very much. When I got into the museum, I was almost touched by its atmosphere.
Finally, we began interviewing Mr. Jin-Huei Lin.  First, he introduced us the process of building this museum.  We realized the hardness and difficulties and the exertion(efforts) Mr. Lin devoted to Shiang Yu Museum.  After visiting this museum, I cannot help but admiring Mr. Lin.  By this interview, we have more clear concept about the museum.〈Top〉

DAI, Ying-Jhou

Last Saturday, we went to visit Lin Jin Huei with expectation and excitement. We took a bus early and took half of hour to there, Shiang-Yo museum. There was a beautiful place and have so many scene like grasslands all around, plain white building style. they attracted me so much. Going inside, we began interviewing Mr. Lin. After the interviewing, I understood that Mr. Lin never broke his dream and keep tring to complete it. At last, he did that.

Now, Shiang-Yo museum is not only a museum but also a wonderful memory of his life. I learned a lot from his life experiment.〈Top〉

WU, Yu-He

Arriving at Shiang Yu Museum in Ou Wang, at the first sight, I was deeply impressed and amazed at how beautiful and special a museum in countryside could be. Besides, with the primitive scenery around, I was able to experience the literary atmosphere clearly.
Afterward, while listening to Mr. Lin talking tirelessly about the hardship and the rough process he had been through, I knew better about not only this place but also Mr. Lin. At that moment, I admired him from my bottom of my heart, and I thought he must have become one of the person I esteem most.

After the interview, I reaching home with a heart full of memories and gains.〈Top〉

SYU, Yun-Ting

While waiting all the members arrive, we encircled a circle and stared our interview. First, Mr. Lin shared the founded process and the purpose of this museum .  From a simple dream of devoting himself giving back to the literary arts of his home town to taking action and fulfilled his dream, Mr. Lin ,who acts as literary arts worker for over a decade, gave up the leisure retirement life and a great promotion opportunity, instead, he made up his mind to establish a literary art center for his home town ,so he quite his job resolutely and donate great part of his money. Anywhere seems nowhere, yet somewhere proves to be everywhere. From raising funds, looking for address, designing structure to collecting antiques and compositions, Mr. LIN was bombarded with large amount of problems and vexation, thanks to warm-hearted subscribers helping and his immovable determination, finally the museum end with successful implementation. Mr. LIN reminded that friends are for life. All it needs is for hearts to confront. Despite the distance that may exist and the time may be afar, friend are always stand aside us whenever we need help, like a 24hr convenience store, being there when we need it. So we should always treat everyone with open mind and genuineness. In daily life, we should give a favor to whoever need help as possible as we can. A elementary classmate or a playmate even a passenger we had helped can become a timely benefactor.

On the other hand, I am very inquisitive about so many incredible and complete collections, including thousands of book, pictures, lecture and art works. Mr. Lin said that there is no dough, accumulating is the main point. And The opportunity is remains for the person which prepares . Mr. Lin has kept touch with many artist and writers. Prepare is the foundation of success.

Though this interview, I realized the some inspiration of the people in this area. Due to living in such a poor land, the many resistant almost kept their body and soul together. As a result, many youth studied hard and had a struggle life to become escape from their poverty. Take this for example, half of Taiwan doctors were came from Ou Wang. There are also many artists and writers grew up and had struggled in this please. They all love their hometown and dedicated theirselves to their hometown.〈Top〉

CAI, Yi-Syuan

In the scorching summer, I got up early instead of staying home sleeping late. Because today I had a more important thing to do. That is visiting a pretty and white building, Shiang-Yo Museum.

During interviewing the owner of the museum, Lin Jin Huei, we can see the strong passion with his dream. In spite of many hardships in the process of building this museum, he still kept his dream in his mind ,and just try his best putting his idea into practice.

After today’s visit, I not only respected Mr.Lin from my bottom of heart but also realized whatever how hard my dream could be,just do it and never give up!〈Top〉

CHEN, Yi-Hua

On Saturday morning, it was still warm. We would go to call on Shiang Yu Museum whose structure was like a white piano. I felt carefree and comfortable. We could see Lin Jin Huei’s collections here. These collections made me exciting. The most impressive part was his life story. I realized that he had a lot of difficult problems in the process of preparatory work. There would be much challenge when we realized the great dream! Mr. Lin’s story told us “Never give up when we pursue our dream.”〈Top〉

MA, Yun-Han

A giant , white building lies in the green field, like a ship that flows in the tumbling sapphire green waves, making the waves a beautiful ivory white spray into the air.

This is Shiang Yu Museum,a museum containing thousands of collections about local writers and painters. The museum is situated in Ou Wang,Tainan, Taiwan, a beautiful place where people dried the salt in the old times. The museum collects a variety of stuffs about the old ages, depicting a harmonious painting that shows how people worked a long time ago. I deeply enjoyed the atmosphere of literature here. I could feel the fresh air flowed through my throat, and then slipped into my lung, giving me a sense of relaxation. I feel comfortable while I was watching the collections of paintings and calligraphy works. Passion and enthusiasm that were contained in the art works stunned me. I could feel the energy of local cultures were thriving.

These people worked hard to make their hometown better. Although Ou Wang is a small town that you can barely find it in the map, people living here still devote themselves to this land, wanting to let their effort turn into the fertilizer to their hometown. I really respect them, and I believe that whoever hears the story will give them a standing ovation and cry out:”Keep going on, dudes ,you do a great job!” 〈Top〉
