Our feedbacks after this trip of time-traveling:

We start this trip of researching through time
by entering red buildings and historical buildings.
Through exploration, we surprisingly hear the stories told by old buildings.
We are lucky to have these beautiful buildings,
making our city so unique and full of diversity.
Thank all the teachers and senior friends,
helping us by giving the chances of visiting and interviewing them.
All your efforts have nurtured our learning fundamentally.

After this project, I have gained further knowledge of cultural creativity and historical buildings. All the places we have visited leave great impression in my mind. No matter it was about interviewing different shops and businesses, compiling pictures, understanding historical buildings, or making contact with interviewees, I have learned a lot from them. I hope in the future I can learn more about everything.

The are so many historical buildings in Datong and Zhongshan districts waiting for us to visit. It is a great honor for us to live and study in this area. They are all precious for us to preserve and protect. We have encountered many difficulties making the web pages. Because it’s a new experience to us, we learn more things than the ones who have never done it before. Making web pages is a lot more complicated than using blogs. It’s lucky that we have our teacher serving as a beacon, guiding us through difficulties. I have also witnessed the power of many people working together to accomplish one thing in such a short time. We need to thank everybody who participates in this project. Without them, we wouldn’t have the chance to show this work to anybody.

It’s a unique experience to visit so many historical buildings in our neighborhood. After these visits, I understand that these old buildings aren’t ruins at all. They are of important meanings to everybody. If we don’t know our previous history, our life would be totally blank. It would be a really sad thing! Also through the process of making this project, I learned lots of skills communicating with others. It’s also interesting to know that all other members are nervous too.

This is the first time for me to make web pages for competition. Making web pages is not as easy as I have imagined. It takes lots of efforts to be able to finish it. After visiting so many historical buildings, I finally understand the importance of them. We all have responsibilities to protect and preserve them.

I never knew about competitions on web pages. This is an interesting and exciting experience to me. We walk out of school to see and visit many historical buildings and stores, experience many new experiences that I have never had, hear so many stories of people working hard to achieve their dreams and goals. We finally get to sort out all the feedbacks and photos to web pages. I am expecting to become a guide to Datong district on the net.

I have so many first-time experiences through this project. Making web pages, interviewing other people and inviting and making appointments with interviewees are just some of them. Now I know that we need to have good etiquettes in order to leave good impressions to others. Also, we need to bravely face any real-time changes and challenges. But, I really learn a lot from this project.
