Zhongshan North Road is a road with lots of beautiful trees alongside. During Japanese colonial period, this was the road that lead to Taiwan shrine (Shinto). It was also the first road built with modern techniques. After World War II, this was a road that connected the air port, presidential building and the residence of president.

After the Korean War in 1950, with the coming of Military Assistance Advisory Group, Zonghshan North Road section 3 become the home to American military and people. As time goes by, now there are lots of stores and cultural creative business prosperous in this area.
