The red buildings of Jianguo High School, being the top senior school for boys in Taipei, was finished in 1909. The name of red buildings was given because of the red-brick built appearance and Victorian constructing style. During the year of 1950 and 1966, two renovation were conducted. Fortunately the construction style has been kept with little change. The latest renovation was finished in 2005.
