Mr. Zeng has been a coach in school since graduation from Physical Education College, and has been coaching school team players in Tao-Yuan County these years. He believes that morality , academic performance secondly and lastly athletic skills are top three important factor as an athletic players. There is no doubt for all students that academic performance should be the first priority. Mr. Zeng highly encourages players to develop not only athletic skills but also academic performance.

In regard to Civil Game, all players of Tao-Yuan County are from different schools. It is not easy to find common time to practice. Furthermore, most players from Taipei County are averagely in their 20s; yet, those from Tao-Yuan County are teenagers. Therefore, it is unlikely for them to win championship in terms of age and experiences. In short, Mr. Zeng believes that no matter winning or losing games, players shall perform in accordance with athletic spirit. Mr. Zeng is not only a coach but also a close friend in eyes of players. He is indeed an excellent coach.

Mr. Lai

  • A coach for Chang-Hua County Tchoukball team.
  • 15 years of playing experience.

 

Interview

Mr. Lai cultivates his interests in Tchoukball since elementary school and later becomes a coach. Mr. Lai states that players from Chang-Hua County do not usually practice until three months before games. The weaknesses of his teams include lacks of mutual understanding between players, strength and athletic skills. Therefore, he always leads players to start from basic skills, which help them to master the sport. Mr. Lai says that his team enjoys practicing Tchoukball very much. Every player practices very hard, but in order to gain honor for the team every one performs cooperatively and explosively.

Mr. Lai gets along very well with all players. When players do not perform adequately, Mr. Lai would correct them. One impressive game for Lai is that when they competed with Taipei-County team in Civil Game two years ago, they lost the tough rival by only one point. It was indeed a splendid game.

Mr. Guo

  • A coach for Tai-Chung County Tchoukball team.
  • 12 years of playing experience.

 

Interview

Mr. Guo started to play Tchoukball when he was studying in junior high school due to introduction from a friend. He plays the sport a lot during weekends and therefore generates strong interests in Tchoukball. He was once a representative of school team. Mr. Guo believes that not only strength but also athletic skills are essentials.

In order to win a game, players ought to develop patience and strength. As a result, discipline is very important during daily training. Additionally, a team cannot win without united spirit. Every game makes Mr. Guo stressful and even exhausted sometimes. But, it is his pleasure to participate in the Civil Game.
