The bamboo clappers that are using ¡uChuang-Sheng¡v have¡uQi-Kuai-Ban (Seven-piece Clappers)¡v, The bamboo clappers that are using ¡uBu-Chuang-Sheng¡v have ¡uSan-Kuai-Ban (Three-piece Clappers)¡vand ¡uSi-Kuai (Four-piece)¡v in the Nanguan music of Taiwan. Generally speaking, the beginning step of bamboo clappers can start from ¡uSan-Kua-Ban¡vto learn and move up to¡uQi-Kua-Ban¡v. The more pieces of bamboo slices, the harder the skill requires.

Bamboo clappers of ¡uPeking Clappers¡v have a smaller surface that the bamboo slices touch and is also tied more tightly so their sounds are denser.

¡uTianjan Clappers¡v, ¡uPeking Clappers¡v are two types of bamboo clappers that is held up-right, but ¡uWang Faction Clappers¡v bamboo clappers are held the total opposite of others, held horizontally. The width of bamboo clappers of Wang Faction Clappers is only two-thirds of ¡uTianjan Clappers¡vand¡uPeking Clappers¡v; it is a special kind of bamboo clappers¡¦ style.
