When he was in 5th grade, Mr. Lin, Wen-bin heard the comic dialogue program of famous speak and sing artists Mr. Wei, Long-hao and Mr. Wu, Zhao-nan. He was very fascinated and could not refrain from imitation. In the middle of speaking, learning, amusing and singing, his Mandarin with Taiwan local accent unexpectedly transformed into standard Mandarin accent. When Lin, Wen-bin was in junior high school, he liked to perform even more. He teamed up comic dialogue partners with several good friends and performed in all school activities. |

Lin, Wen-bin was good at his schoolwork, but his family financial situation was not well. In junior high school, Lin, Wen-bin hated joint entrance examination, and he didn¡¦t want to increase the burden of family, so he decided to give up the joint entrance examination, and applied for Nurses¡¦ school on recommendation. He became a ¡umale nurse¡v, this surprised all.
In 1986, Lin, Wen-bin graduated from Nurses¡¦ school, and was dispatched to service in a mental hospital. The work pressure is heavy, Lin, Wen-bin started to use off-duty time to participate in some learning programs, for both mental and physical relaxation. At that time, there was a traditional artistry seminar for social youths and teachers, Mr. Lin enrolled the ¡§speak and sing¡¨ class, under the guidance of Mr. Zhang, Tanya. He is the youngest, but performance is the best, he soon won his reputation, henceforward, began his career of speak and sing.

Entering the art field of speak and sing, Lin, Went-bin was like a piece of dry sponge, unceasingly absorb the heart of traditional art, and after retiring from military service at the age of twenty-six, he went to Mainland China to find reputable artists as teachers, at the same time, he also put a lot of efforts to promote this traditional art in Taiwan, utilize the characteristics of humor and interest of the art of speak and sing, taught children to learn speak and sing. He coached in Taipei Da-Zhi, He-Ti , Mu-Zha, Wego and Guang-Fu Elementary Schools, which all set up the clubs of speak and sing. In addition, some communities also invited Mr. Lin to teach speak and sing for elder people ranging from three years old to ninety nine years old, ¡uspeak and sing students¡v of Lin, Wen-bin are everywhere. |

According to Mr. Lin, the income of traditional artists such as him is not high, but because he loves heartily speak and sing, so work becomes amusement, this is different with ordinary office workers.
