¡§Speak and Sing Art Club¡¨ of Taipei Municipal Guang Fu Elementary School. When did we start to¡uknock the bamboo clappers¡v? It was about three years ago, our school - Taipei Municipal Guang Fu Elementary School, established the ¡uSpeak and Sing Art Club¡vunder the proposal of the social club teacher Ms. Zheng, Yi-wen.
The objective was to culture the students ability of ¡§speaking and singing¡¨ traditional Chinese art and hopefully become one of the school¡¦s unique feature. It was then that some of our members joined ¡uSpeak and Sing Art Club¡v. Our club performs frequently in school¡¦s celebrations and has received many favorable comments.
For the past two years, our ¡uSing and Speak Art Club¡vwas directed under the renowned teacher Mr. Zhu, De-gang and the ¡§Bamboo Clapper Prince¡¨ Mr. Lin, Wen-bin. We have not only been familiarized with the ¡uKuai-Ban-Shu¡v style, but also understood the beauty of phonology of the Chinese characters and the allusions of set phases and their usages, the results were fairly good. We have many students that have received good results from participating contests in the Taipei City! This was the first time we¡uKnock-the-bamboo-clapper¡v.
