Seven-Piece Clappers (Qi-Kuai-Ban) is divided into two parts known as ¡uDa-Ban (big clapper)¡vand ¡uJie-Zi (small clapper)¡v.

¡uDa-Ban¡vconsists of two pieces of clappers. The one that is held in the hand is called ¡uDi-Ban (rear clapper) ¡v and the other piece is called ¡uQian-Ban (front clapper)¡v.

¡uJie-Zi¡v is also called ¡uXiao-Ban (small clapper)¡v and the fifth piece that is held by three fingers is called ¡uDi-Ban¡v. The thumb is used as ¡uDang (block)¡v, index finger as¡uTiao (rising stroke)¡v, the middle finger as ¡uTuo (support)¡v, ring finger as¡uTie (paste)¡v, and the little finger as¡uXie (assist)¡v.
