Our community had planed to build up the “convenient running water system” from February, 2004. And it’s scheduled to begin the project at January, 2006. The main collecting resource of the water in this project of “convenient running water system” is the streams, which include Zhuoshui stream and Xizai stream, the upper stream of Qingshui stream. To conquer this complicated project, we have to receive the donation from those educated men in our community, and got the official recognition of “enforced authority of the water.” Besides, through teamwork and cooperation, the soul person Mr. Ye maps out the plan with “the community developing association” without a hitch.

      So far, the “convenient running water” is planed as people’s livelihood and public water. There are 92 residents have participated as a member of the plan in initial stage. The whole water supplying project is allocated the funds year by year from water conservancy administration of the economic department. Those residents who participate in the project have to pay twenty thousand dollars member fees as the expense of the pipeline protection one day. The other charging fee major is to charge according to the degree of the running water, which is controlled by the management committee of the community. And in the future, this kind of committee would become one the self-sufficient community organizations.

      However, there are still many problems and frustrations that we may encounter in the near future, when developing the “convenient running water system.” For instance, because the distribution of the residents in Rui-feng area is very wide, it’s very complex for us to build up the pipeline. Hence, it costs us more money to construct it. Furthermore, our source of water mainly comes from the stream, which mostly locates in the remote mountain valley. When we meet natural disasters, the pipeline would effortlessly be destroyed by natural power. It’s the reason why we have to repair it very often. Moreover, since the area, where the stream flows through, contains rich quality of lime, water we think may also has a large number of mineral substances, which would influence the quality, and value of it. Consequently, there are still many problems required to be solved in the future.
