For a long while, our school utilizes the high-quality mountain springs, which come from the top of the mountain Haishu’s village, four kilometers away. Learned men in our community had already applied an allowance from the township administration since 1980. They tried very hard to find out the source of water from the forest lands of the official forests’ office, and connected the water to the school. In the past few years, many hillsides had been developed as the tea gardens. The original and primitive appearance of the bamboo and forests are only maintained their life around the headspring of our school, which continues offers the clean and safe water for teachers and students. The springs are automatically guided to our school through utilizing the physical phenomenon of the “siphon.” After that, we will store the water in the large-scale water tower separately in the school. And, we will keep on offering some water to the community centre for people to make use of. The gross tonnage of all kinds of water tower in our school is about 300 tons. Because there is a dry season for over five months from December to next year’s April every year in Rui-feng, we have to prepare for the drought. To make our school properly and correctly function with no fear of the coming drought, we will wash the water tower regularly and frequently, which could prevent the towers from being polluted by the silt and mud.

        In addition, there are lots of flush motors operating in our school. These motors are designed to draw water from other water towers and supply people’s requirements, when the water is insufficient. Therefore, we could have water to utilize at anytime here in our school, which stretches about 0.6 hectares. The water tube, which provides water for our school, may easily be broken, because of the four kilometers’ transporting. As soon as it is broken, we need to inform parents to give us a help. Since most parents and their children attend in our school, they mostly would help us to conserve the source of water; for our school is the only educating center in Rui-feng.
