Prevention of Debris Flows and Preservation of Hillside FieldsContinuously Developing of Land Resources

After humankind appears, he is becoming the leader role in the great chain of being, who has superior power and intelligence than other mammals. To survive and develop his surroundings, he tries so hard either to adapt himself to the living place, or change his inhabiting environment. Namely, he has abstracted more and more resources from his natural environment generously, so far to maintain his life and his descendent. Our ancestors had effectively controlled the weeds’ growing without using those poisonous chemical medicines for over a thousand years. Spraying those toxic insecticides will murder our local plant. It is like a vicious circle. In many cases, those toxic chemical medicines had impelled more and more weeds that leads to the loss of the soil and ground. Inversely, cutting those weeds through humans’ labor could benefit our land, for the reason that one can choose what should be cut and what shouldn’t through an alternative managing. Moreover, weeding by labor could not only protect and cover our soil; but also avoid those lower plants be exposed to the corroding of sun and rain. Because the impact of human’s activities on natural environment gets more and more critical than ever, subjects about the natural protection have already become the most significant topic of every country around the world. Impact and threat from the environment pollution toward human’s living space have already been alleviated from the local to regional area, and even to the global one. Our attitude toward the utilizing of the natural materials and resources may as well influence our later generations. Consequently, the internal environmental education meeting in Belgrade had put forward “Belgrade Chapter” in 1975. Besides, international natural conservation alliances had put out “World Conservation Strategy” in 1980. Furthermore, Books as “Environmental Perspectives to Year 2000 & Beyond” and “Our Common Future” had both been published by the Belgrade committee (namely, environment and development of world committee) in 1987… etc. All of them talk about the environmental issue from a global point of view, appealing that every country and its citizens around the world should not only pay attention on their local environmental problems, but also set up the environmental protection concept with a broader vision. Moreover, they have to look forward to take care of and face the global environment crisis together.
