John (Words translated by his mother): Yes. Actually, I often go abroad, he likes going to other countries very much, I touch things that I have not touched, so my mother has to go with me. I have probably gone to Japan for six times, certainly going to different states!
There are Kyushu, Hokkaido these states in Japan. I have been to Japan once, but I still don’t know all about Japan. Afterwards, I went to Japan for six times, till now, I haven’t been to south Kyushu till now go yet, because I heard that south Kyushu has a more natural environment. I hope that I can touch other people’s works. When I go to a trip, I will ask the guide if there are any souvenir shops here, the guide will say “There! There!’ then my mother will bring me there to touch the things when the guide take others to play. After I touch the things, I will make a pottery out of those things and my own idea, then I will have new views and new ideas. I will merge these ideas and make the thing that I want to create.
Could you tell me what your motive of lecturing is? Also, we heard from your mother that most of the lectured people were prisoner, why?

John’s mother: He has a 15 minutes speech every time, when he says, I translate. When he is finishes, all the paneled people will stand up and clap hands.
Once, there was a supervisor Tsai. When he went to take in charge of the Kiwi Orchestra’s presentation in KaohsiungMunicipalKuo-ChangJunior High School, he wanted John to speak. John cannot speak three years ago, his speech wasn’t even clear. Later on, the supervisor Tsai of Wen-Der Primary School, he thinks John's words are full of wisdom, so he has been forcing him all the time: You must talk, must speak, even if it wasn’t clear, you still have to talk.
In the beginning, I will also translate John’s words incorrectly, because I can mishear too, so we improved the correct rate slowly. What he says is really quite touching, it really moves people. That was probably on November 16. On November 16th, the New Century Press invited John to go to Taipei to do the two speeches for his book. John went there to give a speech and play the drums to publish his own book. These meanings are almost all the same and that is encouraging people: I can do it even I had lots of handicaps; you then should have done it better than I did. That’s what he will say probably.

John thinks that, no one knows how long they can live, and we can only come to this world once. So I use the time when I’m still alive to do something good for this world. Especially for those who are in jail, everyone has their own weaknesses; maybe they are in jail because of they had bad friends, and then they did a crime. Therefore, I wish I can plant the seeds of love and hope in their hearts, for them to introspect in jail, and admit they did something wrong; after that, they should think of what they should do after they get released, I should have done something good. This is probably all about the circuit lecturing in the prisons.
