"Annon Coffee Farm" is located at the entrance of Fen Cao Road's Tiaoshui Ancient Road. It is about 5 minutes' drive from the school. The owner, Mr. Zhuang Annon, was engaged in construction in Taipei. The relationship with him was a parent-child coffee picking activity in which Mr. Zhuang cooperated with the farmers association. Although he was only helping to collect coffee in the park at that time, Mr. Zhuang's enthusiasm was impressive. In addition, there were also many coffee trees planted in the farm. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are grown organically, so contact him for an interview date.
Q1：Excuse me, why did you plant a coffee tree?
A1:I was planning to retire back to my hometown to support the elderly, and I knew nothing about coffee. Before going home after a meditation, in the dream, the Buddha asked me to plant a coffee tree. The next morning, the temple staff gave me a pot of coffee seedlings, so I started to plant coffee.
Q2：What impressed you in the process of planting coffee trees?
A2:At first, I did n’t know how to plant it. In the first year, I planted only three. After harvest, I watched the TV and dialed the flesh until dawn. After chatting with people, I realized that I need to pack them with rice bags, step on my feet while watching TV, and then rinse the flesh naturally with water before going to bed. Later, I used my past work experience to transform a blender and use the machine to stir directly from the pulp. Now it is easy and efficient.
Q3：What difficulties did you encounter during the process?
A3:Yes, I ca n’t plant at first. I have been burning my brain all night and I ca n’t sleep all the time. Why can others sell 1,000 NTD per kilogram, and ran to ask people how to plant, and see if their beans are indeed better.
Q4：Where do you sell your coffee?
A4:Some sold to Taipei, and some locals and Caotun bought it. Last year, I received 300 kilograms. The quantity is not large but not sold out. I want to keep it as a gift. I hope that the quality is stable and the price is better.
Q5：What are the relevant hopes for the future?
A5:I am still planting more than 100 coffee trees in the woods at the back. When the output is enough next year, I will purchase a peeler and sheller again.
Q6：Do you think Fenyuan Coffee will have a chance to become a local feature in the future?
A6:There is an opportunity. The farmers association currently intends to purchase farmers' coffee to centrally process the coffee and roast it to produce a consistent flavor. If there are unique characteristics of the Fenyuan, tourists feel that the flavor is very unique after drinking, and they want to drink it again. |
