Our students are more familiar with the essentials of web editing, learn how to investigate, and they also know the local environment. Therefore, we are very grateful for this activity because it makes a lot of sense.

Ambassadors for Our Project

Shuiwei is indeed a beautiful small town.  It is also a good place for a hike and for a panoramic view of the sea, but still many people have not set foot on it yet.  To intorduce this place to more people, we not only desgined the website, sharing what we know about Shuiwei, but we also went to Shuiwei in person and shot a film of Shuiwei.  By viewing the film, we hope visitors to our website can feel as if we show them around in Shuiwei.  We hope that more and more people can appreciate the beauty of the small town.

Impact of Our Project on Our Community

Before designing the website, we only knew that Shuiwei is a beautiful place where you can enjoy the view of the ocean.  After we design the website to introduce Shuiwei, we get to understand a lot more about this place, including its history and geographical features.  With our project, we believe we can present a complete introduction of this remote, a little bit mysterious, but beautiful small town.  Hopefully, visitors to our website can also come visit this beautiful place in person.

Intellectual Property Rights and Citations

All the image, pictures, and film are the first hand data collected by ourselves.  And the information in the webstie is written by ourselves.  We studied relevant information, digested it, and then produced our own writing.  The website we studied is clearly cited in the website.

Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises

We are surprised to discover that we learn numerous skills in the process of overcoming our problems.  We learn to be careful when our classmate got injured while fiming a video of Shuiwei.  So we learn to be patient when learning how to use the software; origianlly, we couldn’t control the language of our website, and therefore couldn’t get a Chinese verson of our project.  We also surprisinly find that we have different feelings every time we go to Shuiwei.  We don’t know how we will feel next time we go there.  We deeply hope that visitors to our website can also come to Shuiwei and experience this place like we did.
