It’s our second time to take part in Cyberfair. For the first time, we knew nothing and everything seemed so unfamiliar. After finishing our task, we found we learned many things and widen our vision. This year, we decide to participate in this fair contest again. Our school is located near Zuoying scenic spots so we can find some tourists wandering here after school. It arouses our interest to do something for our hometown. Why don’t we construct an English website to introduce this wonderful place, Zuoying to more people? All of us reach an agreement and make up our mind to do it well.

In the last summer, we learned of the International Schools Cyberfair and decided to participate in this contest. It’s our first time to join in international competition, so we felt lots of pressure. We started to discuss our topic and assigned tasks to each member. Gradually, our sloppy lazy habits disappeared and everything went smoothly. Over the past months, we have visited many scenic sites and temples, and interviewed the locals about the history at Zuoying. Collecting related information, we organized, classified what we got, and kept the visit-and-interview records.

With the advent of the deadline, our final assignments were finally finished. We wonder whether we can win the contest, but we know we have made many efforts to complete this meaningful mission. LEARING FROM DOING.Over the past months, we sometimes took our teacher’s car to interview some locals on holidays. Thanks to Councilor Lee, temple abbots, famous store owners, is the most important for all of us. There are some things we can’t do to follow the regulations of the contests, but we try our best to present the changes and the beautiful views of our hometown, Zuoying.

In the interview with councilor Lee, we learned of something about the tourism development plan from city government. Lotus Wakepark, a theme park, would attract more tourists. In the future, Wakeit international contest would be held and people experience the excitement of wakeit here.

In the interview with Ms. Tsai in the Ciming Temple, she told us many celebrations and festivals such as Chinese music concerts, study center, good-luck assemblies etc.

At Zuoying, there are local temple cultures as well as 4-faced Buddha.

Our teacher and we took a photo in front of the Visitors Souvenir Center.

In the interview with the grandpa in the Ciji Temple, he introduced the history about Zuoying to us and told us some activities here such as lantern riddles game on Lantern Festival.
