Determine the number of participants

1.Teacher released the recruit participant notice for Cyperfair last week, we should think carefully whether to participate
2. There are nine registration forms been signed.
3. We discuss and determine to research the trails nearby Maokong for topic.
4. Firstly visit the trails in Summer vacation, after BTS to determine which trails to be selected for this project.

We did a lot of visits and interview during holidays, all the trails in Maokong area and we split teams for preliminary interview and exploration, including:

Today we decided to divide teams, Maokong has a lot of trails, we need to collect information & interviews individually by each teams, The list are as follows:

Collect and sort out the information

Today the major job to collect information, the team last time to visit Galaxy Cave and report us, we decide to join the research report of this trail, too. Today, the team Fu Deng to collect the information of this trail in today’s schedule. To the team Zhuo Ru will collect the information of Tea Scented annular trails, will visit after the school exam.

Today, Because of many crews were recruited by Recorder teams and painting competition, only few crews attend, teacher request us to get a name for the team. After long discussion and finally determine to the team’s name “Praise to The World", hope we will get a good performance.

Today, we are still very few crews attend, someone go to practice the recorder, someone for hygiene squad, the rest to complete the application form finally, because there has been a typo then have to repeat. But finally completed the first phase of its work. Once complete the registration form, we will continue to put the information into a Google Drive, we are quite unfamiliar on it, we have been some problems and ask teacher’s help, finally she is able to read the information and photo, what a great!

Last week we suspend one time for exam, this week we go to the Tea Scented loop trail, we were divided into two teams. Team A for independent exploration, the main work to be pathfinder, photographing and research facilities along ecology. Another team that Daddy Yu who has been doing film recorder to take Yu Tzu Hao for family fun tour, we met the Grandpa Zhang, ZhiShan, he is a good talker and generous, the Health trail is using a large part of his land, let Geotechnical Engineering Office to develop the land, let everyone to walk in freely, “What is life? It’s no big deal to life”, he said. It’s a great philosophy of life is worthy for learning.

This week we have to interview and explore trails, intend to split in 2 teams, one to the dragon trail, another teams plans to go to Camphor Zhanghu trail for interview of cosmos flower season recently.

We decided to look at the potholes trail, then visit Dragon trail next week, firstly we see a small bridge, it’s fun to walk in on. Then we went the other way and saw a small squirrel, super cute!
The last road that there are lots of dragonflies that make me fear and dare not to move on, however there are someone tell the waterfall is fine to play water, we remove shoes immediately to play, it’s really cool and seems like summer, really fun of it.

1.This week we continue to take advantage of the holiday to visit the trail, we visit the Dragon trail which is flat and the scenery is beautiful.
2.We start to make the questionnaires which will interview on trails, because the former interview seems not organize, the teacher suggested to unify questionnaires, then adding special questions subject to the respondents, this consolidation would be more organized.

Few days ago we went to the Dragon trail which is flat and the scenery is beautiful, but the only thing I feel very disgusted, a section of the road almost with the cobwebs and spiders, we girls scared and faces are pale too, whether Yu TzuHao will be happy if he come?

The holidays that we take the questionnaire which we interviewed but found with discrepancies, and the questionnaire on Tea Development Center should be adding furthermore questions, then we re-make new one to interview again on Wednesday afternoon.

Visit the Tea Develop Center

Today, Zhou Huan Yu and I visit the Tea Develop Center for interview, recognizing the tea exhibition center and here is really very interesting, let people know more about the tea culture. After leaving the tea exhibition center, we visit Tea Develop Center Trail, this Tea Scented Loop trail is very beautiful and not difficult to climb, further to realize the Maokong culture, we interview foreigners and the experience is great, to practice English and training for guts, it is fun.

Place: Galaxy Cave trail

We take advantage of holidays to climb the Galaxy cave trail, because of rainy, it’s not smooth to climb and too much visitors, we encountered crossroad when we start to walk, we decided to toss a coin, however the two road is simply linked after walk.
Compare Maokong uphill and Galaxy Cave Crossing, Maokong uphill climb a little better, but we liked the Galaxy Cave, probably because few people and a waterfall

Today, Zhou Huan Yu and I to climb the trail, at the beginning we do not know which trails to climb, then select Maokong uphill, we did not study the map, then we went to wrong way to reach Little Skywalk trail, even worse it is dark when we arrived, after finishing the interview of a group of people, we’re walking alone back in the darkness and the nearby tomb is fear to two of us, finally we back to the cable car station, get on Maokong Gondola, I am moved but say nothing.

On holidays, our team climbed the Maokong uphill and the Zhanghu trail, the scenery is very nice, our experience after walking the Galaxy Cave trail, we agree to classmate’s comment, the Moakong uphill trail is much easier for climbing, along the trails is uphill and there is only a pavilion for rest, a bit hard walking, the Galaxy Cave trail is higher challenge, In Zhanghu trail, there are many facilities look like musical instrument, it’s very romantic.

Exception of research and interview in these few weeks, each of us must organize the trail information by ourselves, to complete the typing for teacher in the early of January, it sounds not difficult but not easy, as teacher told that we can’t copy the information from web to avoid intelligent property problem, therefore we have to organize in our words with our introduction, however the content is very less, teacher requested us to improve the content, just feel the typing is much difficult than climbing.

Starting today, teacher taught us how to create web pages, let us learn a simple web principle, to set up its own web page to introduce the trails, it is the first time for producing web page and not difficult to us, but we are aware it is not easy to set up web pages since the basic concept is not easy as image, hope we can do it well under teacher guidance to get good results.

It is quite busy for final exam, we only practice the part of creating the webpage that teacher taught, the other part of the interview will be done in winter vacation, we will go to Maokong by our won for interviews, on 1 / 26-1 / 27 we will joint interview, on 1/26 interview with Geotechnical Engineering Office, on 1/27 to Maokong for final sort and any supplement, today we prepare the topics to interview with Geotechnical Engineering Office, the topics are:
1. Why do you develop the hiking trails in Taipei?
2. There are a lots of trails in Maokong, can you advise how to take these trails name from ?
3. What are the characteristics of the trails in Maokong ?
4. We know that Maokong area is famous for tea, we can also find the vestige of tea culture from trails, wondering if there any combination between these trails and tea culture?
5. In the camphor tree trail, we know there are cosmos and also have Lupin in Spring, how would these kinds of flowers in the trails ?
6. For the children, the elderly who like sports, and the people like tea culture, which trails will you recommend them to visit?
7. Please recommend a trail which is your favorite one.

Today, we scheduled an interview with The Geotechnical Engineer Office, the rail Section. We go to practice at school in morning, then visit them at the afternoon. The uncles and aunts in the office were very nice and with detailed explanation, even gave us PP folder, it’s a great harvest today!

Place: Camphor Zhanghu Trail

We followed stamping sheet printed by Geotechnical Engineering Office, to complete the Camphor Zhanghu trail, unsure how many times to visit it, to find the stamp along the walk is quite interesting, we interview some of shopkeepers with very nice chat. When we downhill to the cable station but it’s suspend. Then we go down via Dragon trail, there are 3 trails that we visited today.

The senior brother and sister have been to Tea Fair center several times, because of visiting on Wednesday, we did not encounter the volunteers for interview, by the chance to climb Deng Kao and Rock Lion Footsteps trails, then we went to interview on the way. Although I am only fourth grade but courage to complete the interview, I went to buy streamed milk bread from TienEnGong Temple, very delicious.

All interviews have been completed, we organized into a text file in these days, and then transmit to Tzu Hao, let him to complete the rest of web page. Because Tzu Hao’s dad is an expert to guide him and correct the discrepancies, so we put the basic framework and complete all the text, and then classified in accordance with the subject, then pass a variety of ways to him.
