With the ever-changing information technology era, from the news and the network, we saw a lot of information about homosexuality. And there are many gay friends beside us, which let us resolutely choose this topic. We collect information through the Internet, in-depth research and integration, and actually increase our interview web content. We have learned to use the computer software to integrate the actual interviews and information. After this project production, we deeply understand homosexuals' bitterness and struggles, and we also see their courage to face life and their persistence. By making our website, we want to have more and more people to see them.


2.How do we contribute to the school's teaching and curriculum needs by engaging ourselves in the "International Schools CyberFair" Research Project activities?

O.Learning to be responsible
We are from two different classes. Each member has their own things to do, so sometimes it's hard to find time to get together. Through the process of making the project production, we know more about our respective responsibilities, and we have learned to be in union.

X.Information Collection
News, movies, songs, magazines, books and articles on the Internet are the sources we collect data. We have tried to find a lot of information, and the purpose is to enrich our project contents.

O.Data Arranged
Today, technology is well developed. There is much information on the internet which is relevant to our topic, but information from each member is limited and quite similar. With the advice and guidance of the teacher, we have learned to organize and integrate information. Although it is not a simple thing to streamline a lengthy article, we did learn a lot.

X.Software Applications
In the process of making a web page, we have learned to use many software related to web page construction, such as Dream weaver and PhotoImpact & Photoscape, which are used for picture modification and animation. Learning how to use the software lets us have a sense of accomplishment.

O.Interviewing skills
Our website project uses "gay" as the theme. People who are with or against gays are the people we interviewed. Because the topic is quite controversial, we have to pay special attention to our behavior to avoid offending the respondents.

X.Attitude to life
After the interview, we heard a lot of gay life stories, which let us know how brave they are. They are courageous to face themselves and the eyes of others. It lets us also understand that what they need is not much. They just want to be treated equally and respected. We did learn a lot from them. With an optimistic attitude in the face of things, they actively fight for their life and future.

3.Technology used to complete our Research Project

The reason why we decided to get in touch with Jia-jun Chen is because we saw the film in which she supported homosexuals. After we got the phone number of Mrs. Chen, we started our first contact. As for Pui-kei Chan, it is because we saw what she expressed on Facebook about supporting homosexuals. She also offered us her assistant's number, and told us to check out the interview time. We learned a lot from them such as understanding their opinions and why they want to support homosexuals.

Mrs. Lucifer is a Lesbian who got married in the limelight. We saw her in the news. After the contact with her, we found out that she lives in a different county from us, so we changed our interview to on-line. She talks about her aspirations. We are greatly touched by her courage.


5.What impact the project has on us:

This project Homosexuality lets us understand what is called equal love, and what is called breaking the tradition. When it comes to love, there is nothing to do with age or race, so the gender should not be a problem. After all the visits and interviews, we heard a lot of stories and we realized the struggles they have gone through. They are always true to themselves and aren't afraid of any challenges. They dream about their future, which is worth everybody's respect, both equally and mutually. We saw the dazzling rainbow flag, and we also witnessed the extraordinary courage of the homosexuals.
