We have a 8th grade and two 7th grade stuents in our team.We took part in trainning of science summer camp on every Saturday morning during summer vacation.We cooperate to do our subject and eventually we had victory in finals of competition. In this competition,we learn a lesson which is”we cannot get good grades without deeply research and trainning.”Uitimately, we will do our best to prepare the science competition if we have another opportunities .

Participation in science fairs reflections

1.Bonny :
This is my third time to participate in science fairs, the article of this fair is about the variety angles of 3D books.We do some observation on the 3D books in the beginning ,and we found that the books are composed by different triangle stands.We do some information searching on the Internet,and almost none do this article to take part in the science fair.Moreover,there are only two references of this article,thus,it is a vaiuable theme to do research.However,we have no confidence to do this research well;therefore,we are so nervous.
each 15 degrees.And we do some observations on stand angles,the height of the stands and the wideth of each move.Form those experiments,we are pretty excited because we found some regulations of the change of triangle stands. Furthermore, we can deduce formula of it.Nvertheless, we found some unreasonable data when we do this experiments; tempers our patientance.And we realize the importance of purseing the truth.
Before participating in Chiayi Branch exhibition game, we have stepped up the pace of work finishing the report before the deadline. When we allocate the content of presentation, we never refuse to do our part, and we use the concise words and do a sheet to make a perfect presentation of this competition.

Fortunately, this piece was elected representative of Chiayi City to participate in the national tournament, a professor of mathematics teacher and looking for an experienced teacher of science fairs and meet us to discuss it,and they point out the side we have to improve, especially Professor Shi Haoyao proposed change standing height measured to the point that this piece whole new look to a more concise and presented in a way. However, in the cross-piece from the rest of four days, we did not dare efforts to modify, after major renovations can finally pay part of; course oral report also major renovations to follow, but we are not proud bitter, but we feel it is a learning experience.
On the day of competition , because of long-term training, we do our report smoothly, and we try to have positive answer to respond the judgement’s questions.
It is the most memorable time in my life to listen the results of the competition, everyone listens to the ranking carefully.In the beginning, we are not the Honorable Mention .not the third place, not the second place as well. I thought "Will we have nothing to get this time? " My heart is beating so fast.When the judgements said the first place of the competition is" POP-UP ... "without the word finished, we jump up and rush to the stage to accept the award. In this moment,we are full of a sense of accomplishment of the hard working this year.

Later,with the arrangement we met president and visit Academia Sinica.We saw the Junior and Senior Secondary Vocational first group of players, they are all full of science, math passionate,and I deeply feel I am still a child.I hope I also can be a researcher and make research to contribute to human being one day.
Finally,we all thank to the teachers who accomapny and teach us.They help us to finish this great mission and even remind us not to ignore the detail of the report until the last moment.We appreciate our parents,who support and encourage us not to give up even we have lots of schoolwork.Last but not least,I have to thank to my partners.Without their cooperation and help,we cannot have this accompolishment.

2.Rose :
The experiment was done on mushroom hold those themes and melons hold those antioxidant experiments, the teacher also do the best to guide experimental methods. Although just starting, some experimental procedures inadvertently omitted, but the more we do, the more smoothly behind, but we did almost miss-reporting period, due to the Calvary members who are rushing to other games, resulting contents of the report keep up the progress, even the teacher can’t help but start to tense up, we managed to catch Submission Date, the first test also finally squeaked through. During the experiment, I have come to understand the importance of trust and teamwork among their members in the future, I hope to continue to participate in science fairs to increase their knowledge and vision science teacher here and thanks to the guidance and teachings, thanks for the affirmation of judgements as well.

3.Erin :
Before this scientific experiment, I did not have much interest in science, but we have the results of discussions, let me begin serious again. The Science Fair experiments done even more than before, the difficulty is higher. The teacher said that not many people registrate the competition,so we have more chance to get good grades. Finally,our efforts were not in vain, to get a smooth top three! Although not into the national tournament, but we are very satisfied with this result, I am the senior of the science fair.

Reflections invention exhibition participation

Bonny :
The first time I participated in IEYI Invention Exhibition and I win the gold medal when I was in fourth grade, from that time I have more confidence on it,so I decided to continue the invention.I participate in the Far East HKUST IYIE international tournament next yar,I get 3 gold, 1 bronze a special prize; therefore I decide to go abroad to participate in international competitions ITEX 2012 Malaysia , but it must be introduced in English. I also make a film about it and apply the patent.so I am pretty busy on it.After the competition,I have to introduce my work to people.Hoewver,my siter was taking a nap,so I have to do her work as well.I was busy like a bee in the afternoon. But finally I got 2 gold medals.
Experience of participating in several inventions exhibition get is usually necessary to accumulate creative ideas, a record in the booklet, the ideas into real products need to overcome many difficulties, often making it consume materials and most of the time, if they can not make, Sometimes you need to tell the expert ideas, draw on the expert hands of production of finished products; communication and problem-solving process, and this is my once in a lifetime learning experience.

Climb before we know on the ground to see the world and see different, rich and diverse environment tree, each creature has its areas of life, a lot of pieces in the book only to creatures teachers to teach the next one presents In our eyes, it was amazing endless, through various activities so that we awoke the importance of ecological conservation.

Zona and Aileen :
When we see the blocks, we just think those as toys.However,it is pretty not easy to combine with science and make it look perfect.I just finish my part and try to connect with my partner’s part;nevertheless,we cannot do it successfully.Therefore,we have to do the same thing again and improve it.Although it makes us frustrated,we still learn lots of methods to slove prblems.
