The beginning of the Junior report’s training
camp~~~~
Before preparing for the interview, we were
amateurs who had neither knowledge nor experience in the area of interview
techniques! Therefore, our principal invited Ms. Cai-feng Chang, a reporter of
the Mandarin Daily News, to teach us the secrets behind becoming a good junior
reporter and give us advice on good interview techniques.

The “Who How When Where What” game
-
We provided all sorts of interesting examples of who, how, when, where
and what.
-
We shuffled the different pieces of examples and drew them out by lot.
-
We linked the pieces of examples into different scenarios.
-
In turn we were instructed to apply the elements ofwho, how,
when, where and what into writing pieces of news articles.
