The trains were going to dance with music. It would start from the solo dance of each to the company. Keep your eyes on, do not miss it.
Act 1: Solo dance by S318 (Gif animation)
S318 is out of the stall and heads to the turntable with music accompaniment.
The turntable carries S318 and dances waltz slowly.
The driver of S318 is waving to everyone happily and getting back to the dispatching station.
Act 2: Solo dance by CK101 (Gif animation)
It is CK101’s turn. Although it is already ninety-five years old, it still has a loud trumpet call and dry-ice effect made on its own.
CK101 is swirling on the turntable and it seems the time back to the past.
At the event, except the driver, another staff is needed to be there to add coals for keeping CK101 moving stably.
Act 3: S318 dance with CK101 (Gif animation)
The grand finale is to connect S318 to CK101. But it is hard for the locomotives to go back by itself, hence CK101 is pushed back to stall twelfth by S318.
The turntable has to carry two locomotives, so the drivers and commanders have to work together perfectly to make it done precisely.
The first round of train dancing is done successfully with a spirited burst of handclapping.

Today was an exciting day for getting the chance to watch the dancing locomotives. Once entering the Roundhouse, CK101 was already standing by on the stall twelfth. After the performance of Changhua City Elementary school orchestra, S318 was on stage. With the operation of mechanists and drivers, S318 seemed to start dancing. Then came to the solo dance of national treasure steam locomotive, CK101, and the amazing duo-dancing of CK101 and S318. I almost burst into tears for such a wonderful performance that everyone worked so hard to make the event perfect. Thank you all for what you have done.
Today we came to the Roundhouse for the event “Trains in dance”. S318 was the first show that it moved forwards and backwards and then swirled on the turntable, which it was just like dancing waltz. And CK101 was the next one on stage. Although it is heavier and elder than S318, its loud trumpet call, stable steps and grand appearance won it lots of applauses. Then came to the dance of CK101 and S318 that they worked together to make the show. Thank S318, CK101 and the drivers for giving us such a perfect performance and I would hardly forget today!
