Trains in Dance

This was the first time for this event held at the Roundhouse and only 300 visitors for each round. Many residents came to here early and queued in order. Now, come with us to see how fun it is!

Situation of check-in counter

Check in

We came to check-in counter crowded with many people over there at eight o’clock. It took us a couple minutes to finish check-in.

We were really appreciated the organizer for giving us manuals, carnival coupons and memorial bracelets.

Get manual, coupon
and bracelet

After checking in, we received the manual of the visit to Changhua, $100 coupon and memorial bracelets. For the visitors, if you collected five stamps at the five historical remark sites mentioned in the manual, then you could get a memorial bracelet as well. In addition, we could consume at any shops stuck the sign of the carnival on their entrances by exchanging the coupons.

CK101 must get ready four hours before the show and S318 was ready as well.

Ready for show

The ninety-five-year-old Steam Locomotive, CK101, was rehearsing energetically and the last remaining Electric and Diesel Locomotive, S318, was standing by aside. How excited moment it was!

The crowd stood by the railways and on the viewing deck.

The performance of
Chinese Orchestra

The performance started on time at nine and attracted more and more visitors to come. This was the first time we saw the performance of Chinese orchestra, Musou Band. The rhythm they played was so relaxing and delightful.

All the guests hoped our community can treasure CRH and keep its value.

Four violinists of our school participated in this performance.

Repertoire: Choo Choo Train

After guests addressing, Changhua City Elementary School Orchestra and flute band took charge of this performance. The orchestra consisted of seven elementary schools, around three hundred students. With the delightful music, trains were going to dance.

The guests and Cool-Bow were all waiting for the show.

Trains were already!

After all the performances, S318 and CK101 were going to “dance” with the music. People were breathless and waited for it.

I was really excited that I have not seen dancing trains before. However, it rained at the beginning of the dancing show and violinists were all soaked.

What a vital Saturday was! I asked parents to take me to the Roundhouse in the early morning and I saw many people gathering over there! We could tell how attractive the trains could be. Everyone could hardly wait to watch the show
