What is the connection between CRH and steam locomotive?

Steam locomotives played a key role during the development and golden age of railroading in Taiwan. After a certain run, steam locomotive was refueled, filled with water in the tank and other supplies on its arrival at roundhouse and ready for its next run. Changhua station, having heavy passenger capacity and traffic flow, is located at the intersection of mountain and coast line of western railways in Taiwan. Therefore, Changhua Roundhouse became an important engine terminal as hotel providing maintenance, repair and fuel for steam locomotive.
