The curator of the museum who collected a lot of former things such as televisions, radios and so on during the military dependants' villages were reconstructed (2002 ~ 2003) for displaying in the museum. In order to retain the Sian Guang 2nd Village, the curator held some seminars to assembled people’s opinions, thoughts, ideas and forces since 2003. Fortunately the government decided to reserve the Sian Guang 2nd Village in 2006.
