Grandfathers of military dependents' villages are all from Mainland China. From 1949, there was debate of Chinese civil war, the Republic of China National Army with their dependents had moved to Taiwan to follow with President Mr. Chiang Kai-shek. Many soldiers were young when they came to Taiwan, but also because of the war, most of family were unable to follow to come to Taiwan. On the way, they also encountered many dangers, or lacked of drinking water and food.
