Q::How do you touch to Tchoukball? How many years? Anything to share?

A : The first time to contact Tchoukball is 1981, I taught in Ping-Shan Elementary School when they developed Tchoukball in Taiwan. After joining Tchoukball referee and couch training, I was interested in Tchoukball. I have ever been coach in Ping-Shan Elementary School for 3 or 4 years. The strongest team was Hou-Jing Elementary, Uo-Chang Elementary School, Ping-Shan, and local Boi Elementary School. Between 1981 to 1986, Tchoukball of kaohsiung men and women team have gotten first or third price, which is so strong. After getting into junior high school, the players didn't get any trained, the developing stop a while.

When I got in charge of president of Yuan-Chong Elementary School five years ago, I have to be main minister of Tchoukball Committee. I had a teacher-student cup competition at eh first year, had FITB Asia Pacific Tchoukball championship at eh second year, had worm-up competition of World Games a the third year, and have Civil Game this year. Those are some big activities lately.

Q::Which Tchoukball Committee are your in now? The reason you are in? Which job do you in charge right now?

A:: I am Standing Director of ROC Tchoukball Committee and main minister of Tchoukball Committee in Kaohsiung when talking about the PE developing in Taiwan, I think Tchoukball Committee doesn't develop very well because all of one sport activity is privately owned with short of administration ability.

Many entrepreneurs are willing to be board chairman for few of main stream sports, such as basketball committee, baseball committee, and track and field committee. Tchoukball, not the item in Olympic Game, is regarded as entertainment PE. As a chief committee needs to offer money and effort, a few people are willing to work on it. The chief secretary has to get the money for that, which is hardships. We hope that we can push and develop Tchoukball very well in World Games in 2009.

Q::How do you promote Tchoukball in school? How does it going?

A:: We have had excellent experienced PE teacher, who helped us to get the first price when I came to Yuan-Chong Elementary School, was retired last year. A new PE teacher, who is good at hand ball but not Tchoukball, is not good at the skill of Tchoukball. It is important to be professional to train student to become excellent players.

As promoting Tchoukball, we are happy to see some other school better than us even though we are regressing. That's the encouragement to train our student better. To be a PE teacher of team training is a hard work!

Q::Which competition are you impressed the most?

A:: The most impressed is the time of leading team! The competition we would have is going by “out of double-loser” with Longgong Elementary School of Tao-Yuan county at Central Park of Kaohsiung(was named Sun Yat-Sen Stadium). The coach, my classmate, told me:” Don't compete with us! If you win, you will compete with the strongest one. Yield us to be winner, you are to be loser!” It's abnormal situation in Taiwan wi will encounter in Local Game.If our team win to get into second turn of competing, we will meet super strong team, and then we will lose and out. If we avoid this time, we will have chance to win. As a result, my classmate teased at me when we lost twice, he said:” You should listen to me!” They survived and got into championship! This is abnormal competition rule and seems to encourage our player cheating. We , as promoter of PE sport, should consider of this problem!
