Mr. and Mrs. Yang

Today, we are at the locale of Cheng Huang Assembly, and see an old couple put the sacrifice on their home’s doorway. There are the fruit, the flowers, paper money for the Gods, and joss sticks that have incense. They look as religious people. As a result, we have their permission and interview them.

Q: Have you lived here for a long time?

A：I was born here, and my forefathers had lived here, too. (It seems the right person )
Q: Have you often seen Lord Cheng Huang patrolling?

A： Yes, sure.
Q: Every year?

A： Not every year, but Lord Cheng Huang patrols are hled somtimes for people to worship for safety.
Q: Patrolling always makes traffic jam. How do you think about it?

A：It is not a serious problem since it can't be avoided.
Q: Why do you put the sacrifice when patrolling?

A：To welcome Lord Cheng Huang.
Q: How long does Cheng Huang Assembly come? Is it regular?

A：It depends. But it is few and far between more than 10 years.
Q: Do people expect Cheng Huang Assembly?

A： Some yes, but some no. Some people have seen it several times, so they tend to take it for granted. But still, most of people expect Cheng Huang Assembly a lot.
Q: Have you worship gods regularly in Cheng Huang Temple?

A：Sometimes when we pass it. That’s interesting.
Q: What do you worship for?

A：For heath and richness of every family.
Q: Have Lord Cheng Huang ever presented miracle?

A： It is the greatful miracle that we live safe and well.
Q: Do you residents loop up to Lord Cheng Huang?

A：Yes, definitely. We hear that Lord Cheng Huang is oriented here, and its divide attentions are in Taichung and Tainan.
Q: Are you pious for Lord Cheng Huang?

A： Of course, yes.
Q: Which temple attracts most followers?

A： It's the Lord Cheng Huang Temple definitely.
Q: Is Lord Cheng Huang Temple the loftiest to residents in Zuoying?

A： Yes! Sure!
