กป Explain how your project supports this year's Cyberfair theme :

Languages :
We are now able to independently complete a comprehensive report after rounds of status report compilations, practices in reading and writing and feedbacks from the teachers.
We developed the abilities to listen carefully and articulate our ideas during the process of interviewing and promotions within the School. We have learned to be patient and pay attention to the content when speaking to experts, as well as good story-telling techniques to express our own ideas.

Math:

We learned how to apply statistics techniques to estimate the number of people after our counter-signing campaign.

Social Science:
Human, space & time:

We learned to how analyze the problems associated with the development of Lujhou and devise the ways to make improvements after we came to a good understanding of the evolutions and cultures of Lujhou through information gathering and interviews.
We learned the workings of democracy via a series of debates. We know how to communicate rationally and respect each others.

Liberal Arts :
We learned how to listen and appreciate music from the music legacy of Terasa Teng. We used a variety of tools and exercised our imaginations to depict the life story of Teresa Teng and produced a drawing book.

Summary:
We learned how to express ourselves during the process of study. We shared experience after each event and fostered a culture that we respected each other's opinions. Also, we learned how to actively engage in all kinds of activities and savor life outside the School. We also learned to be responsible for our own behavior.

We came to know a lot of stories and antidotes about Teresa Teng in Lujhou and her affiliations with Lujhou. We phoned our contacts to schedule interviews and visited them for first-hand information.

We organized an exhibition of Teresa Teng and a counter signing campaign in the campus to bring back the memories of the sweet songs of Teresa Teng to students, teachers and parents. We hoped to advocate our proposal to maintain the residence of Teresa Teng in Lujhou so that Sanchung remains a cultural route for historical heritages. Many teachers, students and local residents agreed with us and expressed their support.

We heard the wonderful songs of Teresa Teng the first time we met with the teachers. Our teachers assigned us tasks of interviewing our parents or senior family members what they think of Teresa Teng. We were also required to write down our understanding of Teresa Teng. At that time, our teachers warned us not to plagiarize. Even though it is very easy to find loads of information on the Internet, this is fruit of hard work by others. We would fail to show respect to the writers if we simply copy and paste.

While we conducted our research, we consolidated our findings from the Internet, books and our interviews. We could not simply copy the inputs of our research work. Rather, we had to think through various issues ourselves and note the sources of the research inputs.

(1) Interpersonal Skills:
We learned how to get along with students from different grades and realized the importance of team work. We learned how to distribute workload within the groups based on the expertise of each groups so that we could follow the schedule and meet the deadlines. Meanwhile, we came to know the importance of manners to seniors, teachers and peer classmates.

(2) Software:
We learned to use a number of software applications, including Medi@Show, captivate, namo, photoshop, photoimpact and dreamweaver. We developed the abilities to utilize IT products and produce web pages.

(3) Teamwork
Because the team members come from different grades, we divided the team into different groups for different assignments.
Division: IT Group, and Activity Group, Activity Group was responsible for the research work, IT Group was responsible for typing and webpage creation.
Activity Group (interview): We divided into three subgroups. Since our project comprised mostly about interviews, each member of the group had a chance to interview. The subgroup that did not go on the interview was the Art Group, responsible for designing Thank You Card or invitation card. And another subgroup was responsible for organizing the interview records.
Activity (setting up stall): We assigned an Art Group to decorate the stall, and took turns to attend the stall to introduce our exhibition.
Activity (story-telling): Some members were responsible for telling the story, some were responsible for the quiz.
Activity (debate): We were divided into groups of pro and con, and searched for information.

(4)Event Planning:
We knew that to accomplish a campaign, schedule planning, prior preparations and recaps are required. For example, when we conducted interviews, we had to gather information and outline our questions beforehand, as well as to design the Thank-you cards and workflows. After the interviews, we would meet up to review our own forte and weaknesses so that we could constantly make improvements.
