The Movement
In the beginning, there was a catechist in a church.nearby. He had lots of interest in music and helped people fervently. He’s wishing to open a music camp, so he came to ask John if he could teach a group of student Jazz tom-toms. At that time, John couldn’tmake a dicision,He was afraid to accept it because he thought that he’s blind and had speech problems.
However, the catechist didn’t give up, and kept on encouraging John to teach for the class. After three times, finally, John was moved by the catechist’s heart. He braced up his courage, and decided to accept this “new challenge.”

The First Lesson
A few years before, John only played Jazz tom-toms to recover. At that time, he can’t imagine that he will be teaching Jazz tom-toms in the future. The first time of class, John’s mother helped John to teach. John will do an example of how to play the drums first, then John’s mother will explain the method of playing. The interesting thing is that at class time, the teacher is nervous, the students are more nervous. This made them all thumbs, and even almost keeled over the drums!
John’s student mentioned: ”What we learned from the teacher wasn’t only how to play the drums, what was more important was the braveness of life. When we meet depressions in our life, we can just think of our teacher, and then we will get enough braveness and faith to face our problem.”
Now, John is teaching three groups of students. They each are university students, junior-high and elementary school students and housewives. They all like to come to John lessons, because John isn’t only a skillful Jazz tom-tom player, but also very humorous. John’s humor made the lessons very interesting, even though you feel unhappy when you go to the lesson, you’ll feel relived when the lesson is over.

The Fun
Recently, John has been teaching three groups of students. There are University students group, Junior-High and Elementary students group and Housewives Group. Everyone likes Teacher John’s lessons, because teacher John isn’t only a skillful drummer, but also very humorous. Even if you had a bad mood when you went to lesson, you won’t be unhappy when the lesson is over.
John can also learn things from the students. For example, John learned how to communicate with the students and how to teach the student to let them learn the methods more confidently, and then even the students that first saw the drums can also play fluently with the music. John was very satisfied with this.
