started by selling Tan-a-Mi and traditional side dishes. So,
if you ever come to Howgi, don't forget to order Tan-a-Mi
and its famous side dishes. Howgi's menu includes a variety
of local specialties all around Taiwan, such as Blackbridge
Sausage from Tainan and salted pig's liver from Ilan. Every
regular customer of Howgi has their own favorite dishes. The
dishes displayed in New Howgi are such an irresistible feast
for the eyes that people simply have to taste all of them.

Howgi's side dishes can be divided into seventeen categories:
stewed, cooked, pickled, steamed, boiled, stir-fried, soup,
cold dishes, seasonal vegetables, vegetable foods, salad,
three-cup (ginger basil flavored), sliced, dessert, sashimi,
fried, and grilled. Each category contains an array of different
dishes that in total there are more than a hundred side dishes
on the menu.
