The location of the Changhua Second
Kindergarten was originally built in the Baisha Academy in the Qing Emperor Qianlong (1745). The school was demolished during the
Japanese occupation because of the correction of the city street. Later, in the
sixth year of the Taisho (1917), the local official, Yang Jichen, called for
The Changhua Second Kindergarten was established at the former site of the
Academy, and it was closed in 1945 [1]. Later, in the 37th year of the Republic
of China (1948), on May 21st, Zhongshan and the small children's class of
Minshengguo were merged. The Dacheng Kindergarten of Changhua City was established here, and the director was Wu Xueqin [2]. In October of the
39th year of the Republic of China (1950), due to the reform of administrative
divisions, the official garden name was changed to Dacheng Kindergarten in Changhua City,
Changhua County[2].
