Teacher Huang Wen-Chiung is a native of Lukang, Changhua. She graduated from Lukang Elementary School, Lukang Junior High, and Changhua Senior School of Commerce, Extension Division. She then entered the two-year technical program at the National Open College. Teacher Huang's family ran a nail clipper factory, but because her father had an ocular disease and required to be hospitalized.Teacher Wen-Chiung had to start doing business at the age of eight to take care of her younger siblings.As a result, she could only go to night school for her education, where he chose to study business out of interest.Her granduncle, Huang Tien-Su, was a famous calligraphy master. Teacher Wen-Chiung started learning calligraphy in the 3rd grade at elementary school and stumbled into the opportunity to learn calligraphy from a famous calligraphy master through serendipity.
As Teacher Huang reached her adulthood, she learned to drive and started taking her cousin to learn calligraphy. Although her original plan was to become a floral art teacher, she ended up taking calligraphy lessons from Master Nein Wen-Yi as well starting July 1990 for four years.In the beginning, Teacher Huang worked as a receptionist. Nevertheless, Teacher Huang was able to earn great trust from the boss at work. Two years after she began studying with Teacher Nien, Teacher Wen-Chiung started teaching in July 1992 due to requests from clients.

At that time, her neighbor, Ms Ke Chiu-Xia, encouraged her to continue teaching. Director Huang Yuhuan of Zhongshan Elementary School(now the principal of Dazhu Elementary School in Changhua) also encouraged teacher Huang Wen-Chiung to continue her study in order to enter the school to teach.Therefore, Teacher Huang took up a two-year technical program at National Open College to pursue her higher education.
So far, Teacher Huang has been in the profession of calligraphy for 30 years. She uses that "calligraphy can precipitate connect among people" to express the benefits of calligraphy.
