Sweet potato leaves farms in Shezi Island
Among the seasonal fresh vegetables in Shezi Island, sweet potato leaves (sweet potato leaves) of the highest quality are most famous. Sweet potato leaves are planted in Shezi Island in a large area, and many farmers have planted them. Sweet potato leaves are very good in themselves, just like taking care of a baby. As long as she can water and fertilize in accordance with a certain procedure, she can grow very good and beautiful. Sweet potato leaves have a lot of fiber and have high nutritional value, which is very helpful to human health. Nowadays, it has the better name of "Queen of Vegetables". The main growing season is in March and April, which can be harvested throughout the year.
At present, there are three types of sweet potato leaves on Shezi Island. The first is a dark green leaf with a triangular sawtooth shape. It was previously called a "three-legged rattan" and is mostly used as feed for pigs. I really eat this when I have nothing to eat, so sweet potato leaves are also called "pork leaves"; the second is an improved variety, which is also a dark green leaf, but the shape of the leaf is heart-shaped. The circle is larger and tastes better, which is very popular in the market. The third type is red sweet potato leaves. The red leaves are also improved varieties and have high nutritional value.
In addition, it can be divided into two types: eating leaves and eating roots. Generally speaking, sweet potato leaves that grow long sweet potatoes have smaller and sharper leaves, leaves have fur on the leaves, and have an older taste. They usually do not become table dishes. It is mainly used as feed; sweet potato leaves that do not grow sweet potatoes, the leaves are larger and rounder, and the leaves are tender, but the roots are not large. The two are different varieties.
