Visits to communities to Promote the Dragon of culture

Origin:

In order to make more people aware of The Dragon of cultural, a story with profound historical and cultural connotation, besides the promotion of it at our school, we spent our holidays in serving as guides in communities and temples to let more people aware of it. The audience at communities felt that our explanation was interesting and novel. It was the first time for many to hear the story. The residents of the communities all confirmed our behavior and praised us highly.

Preparation:

As we planned to tell the story of the Nine Dragons in communities, our teacher gave us some tips on details and practice. Below is a summary of the tips:

  • Taking advantage of body language and clearly expressing.
  • Maintaining eye contact.
  • Nodding your head from time to time when the audiences ask questions to show your attention.
  • Preparing in advance to make sure the content of explanation is correct.
  • Explaining while smiling to show sincerity and humble attitude.
  • Moderate volume and clear utterance to explain the content to the audience.

We still need to improve ourselves in many aspects. Hope we can do better in the future.
