Growing Experience

My grandfather was a Japanese policeman. During Japanese occupation, my father's family was middle-class to some degree. However, in accordance with the custom of those days, for a family with quite a lot of siblings, especially a common family with many dependents, girls would be given to another family as child bribes. Therefore, two younger sisters of my father were given away. Without bad hobbies, my father likes chatting in commonly spoken language. Additionally, he is very frugal, which may be related to his wartime life experience. Deeply influenced by my father's attitude towards lantern making, I have been conscientious about and focused on learning, which must be the greatest wisdom passed down from him.
