a)The teacher assigned us to instruct younger learners to correct the mistakes in their math exam. b)At first, we said something with scorn, which caused the learners to refuse to cooperate with us. c)And then, with the bargaining chip – biscuits, they began willingly to listen to us. Although they completed the correction of most math mistakes, we’re not sure they all have learned well. 4、It is easier to learn things on our own than teach others, and we paid more respect to Dr. Hsu’s kendo teaching.
Editing Photos and Organization of Experiences and Content

a)Owing to part of the old photos scanned with poor results, the teacher taught us to use graphics software “Photoimpact” which helps edit photos, making photos more clearly identified.
b)We all took time writing online. However, after the teacher read everyone’s writing, he decided to arrange us to experience how to be a teacher, which was believed that we could write a little more deeply.
c)Experiencing how to teach was arranged during Jan. 16-18.

We sorted the photos into suitable items and web pages. b)Coach Wu Cheng-wen and Coach Liu Yu-yuan also provided the photos which they taken with Dr. Hsu. Students worked together to scan and classify photos.
Proofreading Verbatim Transcription of the Interview

a)The verbatim transcription has been uploaded to the discussion area, and the teacher also helped to adjust the sentences so that colloquial content was easier to read for people.
b)We were discussing together on whether there is a mistake in verbatim transcription or not, which could avoid the people who read the page to misunderstand what we want to express.

a)We have completed the verbatim transcription of Director Huang’s and Dr. Hsu Yen-lang’s interviews; however it was mixed with some noise, and the teacher made a phone call right away to the interviewees to make sure the content.

a)The problem found in the recording file has been marked in the verbatim transcription with a red pen. And then we planned to contact the interviewees by phone.
b)We interviewed two coaches at one time on Dec. 20. Each one was assigned to type the verbatim transcription of the recording file.
c)Learning a lesson from a mistake that the last camera memory card was lost, this time we stored the files on multiple computers and flash drives, in order to avoid the loss of information.
The Interview of Mr. Chiu

a)Chiu Chi-yang is a P.E. teacher in our school.
b)Even though Mr. Chiu got along with Dr. Hsu for a short time, he was certainly guided by Dr. Hsu in Chin His Kendo Hall.
c)Dr. Hsu used scientific methods to help many players find their own mistakes and shortcomings.
The Interview of Coach Wu Cheng-wen

Content:
a)Coach Wu has been instructed personally by Dr. Hsu, and was a national player representing Taiwan to participate in international competitions.
b)Coach Wu attached great importance to our interview, wearing a full set of kendo uniform; meanwhile, he also introduced various kendo protective gears and his bamboo sword.
c)Coach Wu shared many of the little stories happening during their kendo practice. I found that Dr. Hsu was like each student's father, who would teach and take them out to play.

a)When listening to the recording file, there was just a vehicle passing through, so we couldn’t make sure the accuracy of data. The teacher suggested that we could send file to the interviewees to make sure after finishing typing the transcription.
b)Because we were not able to access the contents of the memory card after the interview, we all felt disappointed. Fortunately, the teacher used the recovery software to get files back.

Building Up Data- the Verbatim Transcription

b)We divided the recording files into 5 copies which everyone was responsible for, and finally the teacher would integrate them into a complete content.

Visiting the First Stop

a)Coach Liu, as well as Keeper of Sheng Yeh Kendo Hall, introduced us to the history of Chin His Kendo Hall.
b)Coach Liu is in charge of guiding the students of Kendo Club in Chin His Junior High School, and he also invited us to experience kendo.
c)The coach invited us to visit Kendo Story Hall and served as a tour guide.

Interview Practice

Content:
a)Because it’s our first time to interview others, everyone was really excited. However, we found that there were many details of the interview which should be paid more attention to, such as, do not lower your head to read the manuscript, or be sure to make eye contact with the interviewee. So the teacher wanted us to practice interview skills.
b)We were paired to practice the interview. Even though It’s a little embarrassing for boy-girl pair to interview each other. We still tried to overcome the emotional reactions, like laughing out loud and shyness。
c)The teacher carried out an inspection of our work. He found that everyone worked hard, but often forgot the content of the manuscript.
Visiting Kendo Club

a)The teacher suggested that if we visit Kendo Club, it will help us know more about Kendo.
b)The interview questions have been sent to the interviewees. And after visiting Kendo Club, we can raise a question for discussion on the day.
c)After everyone experienced kendo, we found that kendo which seems simple though contains a lot of knowledge and skills.

a)By the phone we’ve confirmed interviews with Director Huang, in charge of Chin His Kendo Hall, Coach Liu, Keeper of Sheng Yeh Kendo Hall, Mr. Chiu, a P.E. teacher in our school, Prof. Wu, a P.E. teacher in Yuan Ze University.
b)We’ve contacted with Taoyuan Kendo Story Hall. But before going there, we have to make a booking with Dr. Hsu’s brother who meanwhile is willing to accept our interview.
c)Everyone cleared up doubts based on the structure of a mind map, and then transferred doubts into questions.
d)After the teacher revises sentences, we will send interview questions personally to the interviewees.

a)The interviewees were planned to be focused on the members of Taoyuan Kendo sports committee.
b)Dr. Hsu’s brother set up Kendo Story Hall in Taoyuan City to commemorate Dr. Hsu’s many years of devotion to kendo. So he could also be included in the interview.
c)At present, targeting the visit at Taoyuan City Kendo Hall, we have contacted with Sheng Yeh Kendo Hall and Chin His Kendo Hall.

a)In the process of searching data, we found the Taoyuan Kendo Team which won twenty-time Trophy in National Games of Taiwan was led by Dr. Hsu Heng-hsiung.
b)We decided to change the topic of the study, and chose Dr. Hsu as the topic we want to research further into.
c)Owing to some of Dr. Hsu’s disciples being kendo coaches in Taoyuan District and Luzhu District, we can get more understanding of Dr. Hsu through oral description of those disciples.
Finding a Research Topic

a)The teacher instructed us to classify the written notes and make a mind map.
b)Because the data we’ve found was confined to kendo techniques and kendo related places, The teacher suggested that we should add the history of Taoyuan Kendo into a mind map.
c)We found the founder of Taoyuan Kendo – “Wu,Chin-pu”. When everyone was looking for related information further, we found he promoted kendo mainly in Taipei City and New Taipei City in late period.
Finding a Research Topic and the Scope of Study

a)Everyone likes sports, so we wanted to start looking from the school sports clubs.
b)There are dodgeball, basketball, kendo and other sports clubs. Because basketball and dodgeball which we are familiar with don’t need introduction by a project, we chose kendo.
c)We began to collect kendo related information by using the computer.
d)In order to facilitate research, each of us wrote collected data on a note, and then posted those notes on a poster.
