We adopted Mind Map to summarize the framework to produce the website so as to identify our direction, which was an inseparable step of webpage design. After we decided the topic to be "U-Theatre", we browsed the official website of "U-Theatre" which contained five major titles. As of "study method", we adopted the methods of "questionnaire" and "site interview". As of "activity experience", we visited the factories producing "gong" and "drum". As of "activity promotion", we allowed the public to better understand the group. After summarizing Mind Map, we had deeper understanding of study direction. We hoped that through this study, more people could appreciate different performances of arts and cultures!

After confirmation with our teachers, we felt that "U-Theatre" was the best topic. After determining the topic, our teacher suggested us to use "Mind Map" to draw our structure and explain and analyze our framework and clarify the whole framework. First, after referring to some data on the Internet, we first explained the history and background of "U-Theatre", and described the instruments (e.g. drum and gong) and martial arts (e.g. dance, martial arts, meditation). Finally, we wrote our study methods including questionnaire and interview! During the study, we had experience activities (e.g. learning percussion practice, visit, interview, and appreciation). Though each record and journal, we better understood that we could learn the group through activities and promotions through Mind Map!

Our teacher instructed us to conduct detailed discussion on "U-Theatre" and suggested us to summarize our ideas through Mind Map. Thus, we used Mind Map to draw study blueprint. First, we wrote study framework. For instance, what did we want to learn about the group? What activities we could experience? How did we promote the topic...After discussion, we started to draw Mind Map.

We drew all our study procedures and thinking on Mind Map, which helped us clarify the study framework. Then, we added some illustrations and used different colors to explain our study methods and content to finish Mind Map. In this way, we could make our study more rich and smooth.

Mind Map had keywords at the center which connecting representative words with lines to present our study topic and framework. We adopted "U-Theatre" as the central topic and classified it into six items, namely, U-Theatre course, introduction to U-Theatre, activities and promotion, activity records, activity experience, and study methods. We used six different colors to distinguish them, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The experience to make drums was a major point. We hoped that, through Mind Map, the whole study procedure could be more clear and smooth and that our study could promote people to learn drum and bring about vitality to ancient music.

While drawing Mind Map, we centered on "U-Theatre". At the beginning, we were totally strange to the group. We had no idea about what to write and where to start. Through the guidance and explanation of our teacher, we had initial understanding of the group gradually. Then, we thought about many things. Through the Internet, we searched many relevant data. We summarized all the data we found via computer. We used characters to briefly describe our ideas. We drew illustrations beside the words. And we colored the illustrations to complete our Mind Map.

After looking at the Mind Maps of others, we learned that ours contained less content. We hoped that next time we could improve.

How useful "Mind Map" was! It helped us brainstorm. After discussion on the topic with our teacher, we decided to use Mind Map to present the topic and framework of this study and enriched the content. First, we centered on "drum" and summarized, classified, and extended the people, events, and matters related to "drum". I classified it into five aspects, including: U-Theatre, martial art instruments, study method, activity experience, and study record. I believed that while we deepened our study on the topic, we must experience "drum" on purpose. Then, we extended Mind Map. We appreciated performances, and visited, investigated, and interviewed the process and usage of drum. Meanwhile, we actively participated in the performance, charity performance, and campus promotion related to drum so as to carry out the traditional art of "drum".

After we determined "U-Theatre" as the topic, we started to draw Mind Map. When we were in grades four and five, we had drawn many Mind Maps. Our teacher repeated instructed us to make it exquisite and perfect. Our Mind Map had been rejected several times. We learned that it took many efforts to produce WebPages! We centered on "U-Theatre", collected data related to "U-Theatre", and experienced how to make drum and gong and toning, which was extremely complicated. We first finished the texts of Mind Map and added illustrations. I am not good at drawing, so I practiced many times to finish Mind Map. I think that Mind Map is a good tool which can help to think and avoid confusion.

Our study topic was U-Theatre. We used Mind Map as supportive study blueprint. We had interviews and visited the factories producing drum and gong. We interviewed the masters who made the musical instruments and made them by ourselves to experience the uniqueness of traditional musical instrument. Then, we interviewed the performance group, participated in performance, learned the brand-new interpretation of traditional musical instruments of the group, and presented the new vitality of the instruments. Besides visits, we adopted questionnaire to collect relevant data and summarized and analyzed the data to make them more convincing. Additionally, through charity performance, promotion, and display, we allowed more people in and out of our school to learn the musical instruments, carry forward music, and enhance the significance of this study.

We employed Mind Map to improve the overall report framework of U-Theatre. It contained group introduction, relevant exploration, research methods, visits and interviews, activities and promotion, and activity records, photos, and videos. We summarized the framework so as to match with the design of webpage. First, we determined our topic, explored deeply the special activities including the special training method of combination of Tao and Art with traditional music and dance. As of report compilation, we had research methods and visits. As of research method, we adopted questionnaire and interview. We first distributed questionnaire, analyzed the data collected, and summarized the questionnaire and interviews. Finally, through display and performance, we promoted the spirit of U-Theatre. We hoped that more people could know this famous group.

Research Progress-Gantt Chart

Chien-te's Gantt Chart謙德的甘特圖

We used "Gantt Chart" to plan and implement the time and order of activities and finished blueprint in advance. I was responsible to plan Gantt Chart for the entire research. When we cooperated to study and share, we learned the importance of time planning and activity progress. For instance, it took longer time to finish some activities. We must plan to finish the plan in the middle of summer holiday. Interviews might be changed due to some temporary reasons. We must discuss and cooperate each other as of time. We checked Gantt Chart to see the months containing fewer activities to plan new ones. It was really interesting! After connecting each chapter, we found that Gantt Chart could help us control the progress of the whole progress, clearly see the starting and ending of each task, and make our study more effective.

During this Cyberfair project, I learned what was "Gantt Chart"? First, according to each chapter of the framework, we used columns to present the progress of each item. Gantt Chart contained basically lines. Horizontal axis stood for time, while vertical for activity (program). Through the lines, we could clearly see the proposed plan of this Cyberfair project and the actual completion condition. Meanwhile, we used "Gantt Chart" to make prompt adjustment when appointed interviews or other activities had temporary changes. It was of great help to balance between actual completion and plan during the entire study. I was very happy to learn new knowledge.

When we determined U-Theatre as the topic and prepared to collect relevant data, our teacher patiently taught us Gantt Chart so that we could have an effective control of the progress of this Cyberfair project. Then, each student proximately estimated their time spent. We considered "month" as unit. And a member each week would summarize by drawing Gantt Chart so as to conveniently control research progress.

We estimated that it would take us ten months to complete Chapter 1! Finally, it took us one more week to collect all the data and compiled articles. But, we still could roughly control our progress. We had hot discussion while drawing Gantt Chart. It was a rare learning experience to learn Gantt Chart from scratch and finish it!

Gantt Chart used lines to present the starting and ending points of ongoing project or works so that we could clearly know the time of the entire activity. While producing the WebPages, our teacher felt that Gantt Chart could help us understand the time of each chapter simply. Each member used Gantt Chart to draw their respective chapter so as to have a clear direction and avoid trouble of summary. It helped us summarize data on activities fast and easily.

Chapter 2 contained many activities. Through this map, we could clearly see the time. Gantt Chart used images to replace words so as to leave a clear and deep impression. Plus edition and illustrations, it could us remember all the information fast.

Thus, Gantt Chart was important for a series of activities and turned long words into an interesting image.

This was my first time to use Gantt Chart to show the progress of this Cyberfair project. I was responsible for Chapter 3 which centered on drum. Through the arrangement of our teacher, we divided tasks and cooperated to inquire relevant data and participated in interviews. It took a long time to complete this Cyberfair project. Since the end of 2015, we started to collect materials. And in August 2016, we formally finished summarizing all the data. The horizontal axis used month as unit. Dark green columns stood for the time spent by each person. We drew cartoon pictures to stand for each person responsible so as to make the whole picture livelier. The vertical axis presented the items studied in the chapter. Gantt Chart made our research activity more clear.

While producing the website, I adopted "Gantt Chart" for the first time to understand the time point of each stage of the entire framework. According to each chapter, I planned time, content, agenda...I summarized a schedule and used different colors to distinguish the content. Gantt Chart made it easy to see the time. We used columns to show the progress in each moth of each person responsible. It not only controlled the time spent by all the members, but also better presented the priority of the topic. I felt that Gantt Chart made it easier to plan the production of webpage. Meanwhile, it helped me plan my study more effectively.

Gantt Chart was a new concept. I did not fully understand it after my teacher explained it for the first time. Though it looked simple, almost everyone did not finish the first chart correctly. Thus, after distribution the items among us, we had several revisions, checked repeatedly, and finally presented complete and correct work. We wanted to give up as we had to draw the chart again for each small error. We should concentrate to draw Gantt Chart, which was a big challenge for me as I could not draw well. Gantt Chart had many advantages. It could easily show what we should do at what time. Thus, we would keep order and would not confuse too much content. Moreover, Gantt Chart could be applied to many aspects. It could be used to plan reading and analyze tables effectively and clearly. It was really practical.

Gantt Chart connected activities and time so that we could control the whole progress according to time limit. And we could clearly observe the progress of each item. First, we searched the performances related to drum on the Internet and planned how to promote our topic at campus. For instance, we included the drum activity in November 2015 and performance at national theater by U-Theatre in February 2016 in Gantt Chart, discussed how to introduce activities, inquired the location and time of campus exhibition, planned site, made posters, checked time, and included them all in the chart. Gantt Chart facilitates me to allocate time. It was a very practical chart which could also be used to plan reading.

During this Cyberfair project, we employed "Gantt Chart" to clearly mark the time spent for each chapter of each person. Through the chart, we could clearly see when the person should be responsible for each chapter to finish his/her task. Meanwhile, it helped us adjust time in case of any emergency so that each activity could be conducted within the proposed plan. Gantt Chart could be applied widely in our daily life. For instance, it would be used to plan reading, exercise, and so on. I used pens of different colors to mark the time, item, and member. Finally, I added some illustrations to complete Gantt Chart! Gantt Chart was really practical.
