Housekeeping Department

Rooms have clean and tidy beds with neatly arranged pillows and quilts. Stepping into them, there is not a trace of dust. Everything looks brand-new. Can you imagine that a few hours ago, several customers lived here?

Behind the clean and tidy rooms, there is a group of Housekeeping Department staffs who silently work. Their work can be classified into several aspects:

1. Room

They changed pillowcases, put pillows aside, took out and replace the bed sheet and quilt cover. Then, they put back the pillows and clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner.

4.Check rooms

First, the Head checked each room. The inspectors would carry tape and rag. They used the tape to stick away the hair which they might fall down to the ground. They would touch tables to check whether there was dust. After checking, fingerprint might stay. They used mob to wipe it away. After checking the entire room, they would cast a glance to it to prevent missing flaws.

Postscript

A housekeeping staff tidied up 12 rooms in average per day. I may feel tired and give up arranging without finishing even one room! Housekeeping staffs had to change sheets and quilts and clean the floor with vacuum cleaner. They had to take care of even the subtlest place. Through practice, I knew a lot of tips to get the room done quickly and neatly.
