We have done lots of researches about scenic spots and temples in Xiju. We planned a series of field trips to learn about this island. To build up this project, we searched information from books and internet, and discussed with our teachers for many times.
The most unforgettable part is that Miss Liu, Bi-Yun, the principal of Banli Elementary School, guided us to read picture books about Matsu's culture. With her guidance, we saw not only beautiful pictures, but also our ancestors' wisdom. Another interesting experience is visiting Tianwo Matsu Temple(田沃天后宮).
Our teachers invited Mr. Lin, Shun-Hsiang, chief of Tianwo Village, to introduce meanings of every detail in the religious ceremony. I still remember we put vegetables in the first and second row, then wine, pork and chicken. And then put a knife with some salt on it, it means that the God may enjoy these food.
After information collected, we still had to write articles, take photos and draw some pictures to tell Xiju's stories. This project is not easy for us. However, we still finished it with our patience. And we enjoy the fruit of our hard working.

It's my first try on website building. We paid a lot to build a website to introduce our hometown. We took most of the photos and drew some pictures by ourselves. We learned about intellectual property rights. We don't use pictures without permission.
Miss Liu, Bi-Yun's guiding of reading is excellent! I really love Heroes of the North Sea(北海大英雄) and The Breathable Houses(會呼吸的房子). Heroes of the North Sea is a story based on Matsu's frontline era, and The Breathable Houses is talking about our ancestors' genius techniques on architecture.
Another unforgettable thing is making videos. Making videos is not just filming. There are many other things to do to finish a video. Setting a website is even more complicate. We have so many articles, pictures and videos to put on the site. And we have to do typesetting to make the website beautiful.
Time flies! We have been worked on this project for over a whole semester. I feel really happy to see many things done perfectly. I've learned a lot!

I'm enjoying this project since we started. Though it made me busy because I had to practice singing at the same period.
I learned a lot on this project. My typing and writing abilities are improved. I learned to build a website. I didn't know Xiju's geological landscape is so unique before Section Chief Hsu of Matsu National Scenic Area described to us.
Now I start to cherish my lovely hometown and admire her beauty more and more.

I was the one who checked everyone's articles and made them fluently. Although It's very difficult for me, I learned a lot!
The most unforgettable thing is uncle Shun-Shou's tour guiding. He is really a interesting man, and he knows very much about this island. We learned a lot from him. After uncle Shun-Shou's guiding, we spent two weeks to write and edit what we learned in it and then we shared with our partners.
When I look back at what we've done, I feel really proud of our teammates. We have conquered many difficulties. Sometimes we were far behind our schedule, sometimes we made NGs when filming. We really spent lots of time on these errors. However, we made it! Thanks to my teammates and people who helped us!

Knowledge is a treasure,
but practice is the key to it.
If we don't try, nothing will happen;
if we try, it will be different.
