1. Process description for soy sauce cuisine DIY

It is very important to learn DIY, and making the soy sauce cuisine is also one of our scheduled learning objectives in this project. Of course, soy sauce cuisine DIY can be completed through many people’s help. The menu includes braised food, angel egg, three-cup chicken and fried noodles.

In the early morning of that day, there are parents accompanying us to the vegetable market to buy vegetables; after coming back from the vegetable market, we firstly make some beforehand preparations (such as washing and cutting the vegetables, etc.); then, we put them in the refrigerator and wait for the DIY activity in the evening.

We hold the activity at the courtyard in front of the team member’s house. We take the gas stove and all the tools to be used out. On that day, there are about 20 people attending the activity, including team members, parents and teachers. It really looks like that we are having a feast. This activity has left a deep impression on all of us. Of course, we will eat the cooked noodles and dishes for dinner today.

The dish of braised food should be the easiest to be done. The relevant food materials are cut and placed neatly on the plate, and then drizzle the soy sauce on it; it is finished
As for fried noodles, the side dishes should be first put into the pot and fried, and then add the oil and noodles in the pot for stirring; the noodles are delicious only with slow and uniform stirring. After the noodles are put on the plate, add some Shinhochun Soy Sauce. How delicious they are!

The dish of three-cup chicken really requires considerable time. The heating control is the most important. If the chicken is fried for too long time, the chicken will become hard. Please pay special attention to this point.
As for the angel egg, at first, shelled shrimp, fried egg and side dishes are finished separately, and then place them on the plate for decoration. The ability of plate placement is very important!

 

2. Afterthoughts

Since our childhood, all of us eat a ready-cooked meal, and many of us have never boiled the water, not to mention the cooking! Through this experience activity, we have realized mother’s pains to cook 3 meals for us every day.

At the beginning of activity, we try to cook the dishes for the first time. 10 persons cook the dishes through talking about the dishes, as a result, the first dish cannot be eaten due to overcooking. Fortunately, we have prepared more food materials. Through the careful guidance from parents present, all of us finally complete this impossible task. When we eat the dishes cooked by ourselves, we can feel that the dishes are cooked attentively although they are not as delicious as those cooked in the restaurant.
