About Us-Afterthoughts of the Cyberfair project

 

Hi, my name is Yu-tan Wang, and I act as the captain of this team. It is very laborious to be a leader. Although the whole process is not very smooth, we have to face and solve the problems instead of escaping them when we encounter the setbacks. Otherwise, everyone will do the project unhappily. To be honest, during the process of this Cyberfair project, my attitude is not very good, as I am anxious to complete it quickly and we have no time to do it after entering the Grade 3 of junior high school. Therefore, I intend to do some jobs for the project before the ending of summer vocation, so that we will not be so anxious after coming back to school. So, when I see my team members do the project while playing and even they cannot hand in the homework, I will become unhappy and ferocious. In this way, everyone will do the project unhappily. I know my attitude is not correct, but I don’t mean any harm and I am just anxious and I worry about that we cannot complete it before the ending of summer vocation. Through this Cyberfair project, I have learned that being the leader of a Cyberfair project requires having the patience and listening to the opinions of team members. We should not be self-centered and the spirit of team cooperation is the most important. Let’s fight together and work together to complete the work. Mutual cooperation and listening are the most important. Let’s work hard to complete this work! Everyone has the high expectation for our team, so do not let them down.

Hi, my name is Wen-yu Chen, a student from Chang-Sing Junior High School, and my role is vice captain. In the Cyberfair project, I am mainly responsible for column report. The 10 team members have their own jobs handled by them. Throughout the way, we have encountered many large and small problems, like grouping or disagreement in opinions. So everyone is unhappy. Fortunately, other classmates persuade that we should listen to others’ opinions, and we should not be self-centered and hold on to our own opinions blindly. Humans are mutual; all of us are classmates and it is unnecessary for us to have a bad time. Everyone has his or her own temper and idea and hopes that others can respect him or her, so we should first respect others. In my opinion, attitude is the most important whatever you will do. There is a saying that attitude is everything and I agree with it. Although someone may not understand it, I believe that they will know about it in future. This Cyberfair project not only makes me learn how to make a column report, it also makes me understand the importance of cooperation between each other.

Hi, my name is Tzu-Shang Li, a student from Chang-Sing Junior High School. In daily life, there are many things being worthy to be done by us. Making soy sauce requires patience, and the cheat on labour and materials are not allowed. Also, workers must learn how to correct the mistakes for this time, so that the soy sauce can be made better next time and the customers can use the “Shinhochun” soy sauce at ease. In order to make more money, if the operator reduces the cost to cause the quality reduction, the regular customers may no longer trust in the “Shinhochun” soy sauce. Thus, it is impossible to continue the operation. In my childhood, I did not think much of concentration; when I grow up, I understand that the concentration has a lot of to do with the achievement. Likewise, if you steal something in the childhood, you may become a robber in adulthood. Therefore, the reason that many century-old shops can be operated for many years is because they have the great persistence in something. Therefore, now we need to work hard to cultivate our ability and spirits, and the future achievements are limitless.

Hi, my name is Hung-yi Lin！I feel very glad to participate in this Cyberfair. Through this Cyberfair, I learn the importance of team cooperation. At the beginning of Cyberfair project, as for many of us, it is the first time to participate in the Cyberfair, so many situations often occur; for instance, at the beginning, all of us have not completely get into the situation and we have no idea about what jobs we should do. Most students are in the same school but not in the same class, so the dispute occurs frequently due to different opinions or viewpoints, and even some students want to exist from the project. Those students who have a good relationship with each other cannot survive from the disagreement. Being late is a regular occurrence, and some students often cannot go to the site or cannot gather at the designated place due to the family affairs. Therefore, when we have a discussion, it is difficult for us to reach a conclusion at one time. Later, the teachers help us clear the misunderstanding, and some students will put forward the correct ideas to lead us. Gradually, we know about what we have done wrongly, and then we should make the improvement aimed at the mistakes. Although it is not very perfect, at least we have done better than before. As the saying goes that “A fall into the pit, a gain in your wit”, “Nothing in the world is difficult if you put your heart into it”. As long as you put your heart to do it, you can certainly conquer and complete it smoothly whatever difficulties we meet with.

Hi, my name is Kai-cheng Chia. I am responsible for integrating data in this project. I think that this work is not so simple. At the beginning of this work, I think that it is very difficult and I feel at a loss about my job. Even I feel doubtful whether I can adapt myself to the Cyberfair project, but I do not lose confidence. At the beginning, I have no idea about what to write when I type the data. After complete it, the group leader says that my ideas are not good, so I have to spend more time doing the job again. Then, I quarrel with my classmates due to work problem when we sort out the interview recording documents and data, and if we do a bad job, our documents and data will be returned. If they are returned again and again, we will feel upset and want to give up. However, we learn to adjust the mood by ourselves. With so long time, the Cyberfair project is almost completed eventually. I feel very happy in my heart. When I think back on that period of time, I find I have made a great progress. At the beginning, I can do little about the job, and later I am able to do the job by myself through learning. This Cyberfair project makes me learn a lot, and my typing speed also increases a lot. Now, I can do the job of data arrangement very well. The Cyberfair project really benefits me a lot.

Hi , I’m Chuan-you Lu, second grader of Chang-Sing Junior High School. It is the first time for me to visit the soy sauce factory, and I am unfamiliar with the brand of Shinhochun Soy Sauce and I just hear of it. However, Mr. Chang carefully introduces to us about how soy sauce is made, from soy sauce to soy sauce paste, and from goods to gift box. The traditional inheritance of Shinhochun Soy Sauce also gives consumers more guarantees. Shinhochun Soy Sauce is made with the traditional dry fermentation and belongs to medium and high price; its products rank the top in the market forever, the quality is better than other products and the process control is also stricter than others. We are attracted to come here by its reputation, and have seen the traditional specialty goods of soy sauce as well as the public praise. Over the past few years, due to the food safety storm at home and abroad, we also become curious about the nature of foods. As for the manufacturing process of soy sauce, “Shinhochun” claims that the soy sauce is “pure hand-making, 100%non-toxic, healthy and purely natural.....”. In order to keep the reputation of traditional soy sauce, “Shinhochun” takes the 3-generation technology and cooperation as the basis and the purely hand-made brewing is the idea insisted by them for many years. Through visiting and interviewing Shinhochun Soy Sauce factory, I have a deeper understanding of the making process of soy sauce, and such knowledge cannot be learned in the textbooks. When we watch Mr. Chang carry out the operation beside him, we feel that it is very easy. However, when we actually try it, we find that it is very tiring. Through this precious visit and interview experience, we also understand Mr. Chang’s sadness to maintain the traditional soy sauce.

Hi, my name is Kui-ming Lin. During the summer vocation, we have visited and interviewed “Shinhochun” and learned the making process of soy sauce. After learning the making method of soy sauce, I understand the pains of making the soy sauce. In recent years, the food safety storm in the market has affected the majority of foods. However, the constant perseverance of “Shinhochun” hand-made soy sauce factory stands firm, and their soy sauce is made purely by hand. They hold the mentality of “century-old working method and classical inheritance” to hold on continuously. The sequence flow includes 12 steps, i.e. “selecting the super black soybeans, soaking and cooking the black soybeans, making koji, seeding koji, being fermented, washing koji, exposing the black soybeans under the sun for a long time, putting the black soybeans in the jar and sprinkling salt on them, being exposed under the sun, pressing the black soybeans after the ripening, being seasoned and bottled and being sterilized with high temperature, being packaged”. These steps make the soy sauce have its own position in soy sauce industry. It is a great honor of my life to know their process. It is too hot for us in the soy sauce factory to stay in it. After I make the soy sauce by myself, I have known that the “sense of achievement” urges the master of soy sauce to insist on completing the job, no matter how hot it is. This visit and interview benefits me a lot and I will deeply remember it in my heart.

Hi, my name is Chih-Hsiang Shih. Through participating in this activity, I have learned a lot of things, including team cooperation, how to introduce my hometown, how to make an interview, how to take photos, etc. As for the process, everyone participates in it with great efforts. I can learn from it and it enables to grow and have a better understanding of my hometown. All of us work hard to collect data and make an interview. All the date are sorted out into the regular chart, so that the whole webpage can be easily and regularly read and systematically read. Thus, I can obtain a lot of afterthoughts from the activity. I think that it is very meaningful to participate in Cyberfair project. During the process, all of us including the led teachers work very hard. With the laborious work, the moment we complete the work, we feel that everything is worthwhile.

I’m Shih-you Tseng, second grader of Chang-Sing Junior High School. At the beginning, I join this team with the purpose of knowing about Cyberfair project. However, after joining the team, I have found that carrying out the Cyberfair project is actually very laborious. During the process, team cooperation is required to complete all the activities with everyone’s joint efforts (including data collection, webpage making, interview activities, questionnaire survey, DIY activities). Thus, the near-perfect and rich works can be completed. We have to learn a lot of techniques and methods related to webpage editing, as well as learn how to plan out the webpage template layout at the beginning, so that the whole webpage looks both beautiful and comfortable. Everything is worthwhile of thinking and planning. Therefore, it is required to think about and treat all the things from different angles, so that your every step can be perfectly presented. Through participating in this Cyberfair project, I put forward various ideas and opinions and also obtain the sense of achievement and some experience in webpage making. Even I have learned the importance of time management. During the process, I feel happy and rich.
