Jun Kai

We were surprised at the making of pineapple jam, because we had no clue with the process. And we were so worried that we would fail it.
While cooking the jams, we had a lots of fun. However, the fun did not last long, because we bumped into power failure. We were just in the middle of making the jam, which may be failed.
Luckily, the teachers came up an idea to solve the problem, so we could continue our cooking. While cooking it, you need to keep stirring the jam, and it will be really sticky in the end. Thus, you need a strong friend to fulfill the job. The final stage is bottling. During the process, I have been burnned few times by the boiling jam. Thanks to the school cook, she helped us to complete the bottling.
I am so happy to have learned the making of pineapple jam, and have experienced the difficulties of making it. Nevertheless, I am so glad we have done it, because these jams will be sold for building our new library.

Teachers choose us for the internet website competition, and we are proud of joining this special team.
We had to use our lunch break time to design the website, so we always got sleepy in the afternoon classes. Besides that, my brother and I are in the same team, but we had a few disagreements on editing the articles. Fortunately, teachers always could help us to solve the issues, and we finally had finished the work. It was really an unforgetable memory.

Yiu Cheung

When we went to interview with the farmers, we not only learned the knowledge through conversation, but went into the fields to touch real objects. Through the activity, I have learned loads of information about pineapple, and further understood our hometown.

Ya Xiu

Through the event, I have the background knowledge about Kuanmiao pineapple. Moreover, teachers gave us the chances to plant our own pineapples. And I had a great time during the process. Besides that, We have made many The products such as pineapple iced tea, pineapple ferment, pineapple jam and so on, which gave me a great sense of accomplishment. Most importantly, we have designed the website by ourselves. Teachers taught us many computer techniques such as searching information, collecting data and so on. I have learned so much information through the activity.

Ching Yi

Our team are divided into several groups. Different groups have different missions. Some were in charge of promotion, other were in charge of products, and still others were in charge of designing website. My team’s job was to do the presentation. While doing it, we had faced some obstacles such as graphic issue. Through the team discussion, we did come up a good solution for it, and we paid loads of efforts to accomplish our presentation. We really hope this work would not be in vain, because we all gave our best to fulfill it.
I was in charge of promotion, and my job is to design activities to promote and introduce The products. While doing it, I bumped into some troubles. And thanks to my teacher who gave many useful tips, I can finish my job on time.
Besides that, we had made many beautiful pictures on our presentation such as pineapple pizza, map of Taiwan, pineapple juice and so on. We have a gerat sense of accomplishment through the works.

Yu Ting

Even though we only have eight students to design the website, we still cooperate perfectly to fulfill the mission. Besides that, we have also participated making pineapple jam and pineapple cake. The process of making it was not easy, but we still did it. When we went to the festival to sell our products, the mayor bought our pineappple cakes for 1000 NT dollars. We used our break time and holidays to do the preparation. The time was tough, but it was really worthy. Most importantly, through the event, we have become the experts of pineapple.

Yi Lin

Last semester, we have made pineapple jams, and it was really fun and delicious. And we have learned that making the jam is easy but is very time consuming. Nevertheless, practice makes perfect. We gradually reduced the baking time after several experiences. It was my first time to join the website competition, and it was fun and interesting. We have learned many computer technologies and baking techniques. Besides that, we went to the festival to sell our products, which is the coolest experience I have ever had. Thus, participating this project is the decision I would never regret.

Hui Ting

In the begining, I though making pineapple cake was just a piece of cake. While making it, I realize it was not easy at all, because making the filling took us so much time. Moreover, while wrapping a pineapple cake, you need to be really careful, because it could be messd up just a blink of eye. Until then, I learned that making pineapple cake requires great patience and techniques.
Through the competition, I have learned how to utilize computer softwares, and teacher Hsu taught us techniques patiently,helping us to make the website better. During the winter vacation, we always went to the school early for creating our website. Although it took away our free time, nobody was complaining about it. Because we knew what we're doing was meaningful, and it could help the community to have good reputation.

Conclusion:
Through the research report, students have deeply understanding to their hometown. They used to know that Kuanmiao pineapple is famous, but they didn't know the reasons. By doing this research,they have learned various usages of pineapple, and realized farmers endeavor.

The process of exploring is interesting, they are so pound of what they achieved.

Appreciations

In the end of the semester, we finally finished the website on time. We have done numerous adjustments to make the content flawless. It was not an easy job,because we sometimes made mistakes, and it took time to fix it. Eventually, we still accomplished this work.
During the process, we have obtained many people’s helps such as our classmates, teachers, farmers and even strangers. Because of their supports, we can fulfill this difficult job.
