Other usages of pineapple
For protecting the environment, we took used pineapple skins to make recycling enzyme detergent, which is natural and can reduce environment pollutions. In this way, we can live a healthy life.
1.The process of making detergent
Put used skin into a container, and store it three to six months for ferment. During the process, the container needs to be opened few times for stirring.
The container needs to leave thirty percent of space for ferment. If used pineapple skins are not enough, you can add black sugar water in it.
If you put tangerine’s skin inside it, the ferment will have a fragrance.
2.The process of fermenting
The ferment should be stored in the place without sunshine and has a good air circulation.
The color of a successful ferment is brown yellow, and it smells like tangerine. If the color is black, it means the ferment is failed. However, you do not need to throw it away. Just add black sugar water in failed ferment for another month. If the skin of ferment turn into white, it means the ferment is perfectly done. The skin of ferment can be used as a skin care product. While waiting for the ferment, the lid needs to be sealed tightly.
