The Story

　　This is a touching story about a couple and twenty children! Living in Hemei Town, Changhua County, Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu had accompanied a course of travail for 15 foster children. They had two more foster children in their family, plus three children of their own. The stories about Xiaowei, Ahwen and Ahlong are of special significance in the heart of Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu.

　　To protect the privacy of each foster child, we use cartoon illustrations instead. All the illustrations were provided by the Hope Workshop research team members. We hope to create a warm and lovly style for readers to experience the love and care of Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu, and their selfless contributions.

　　Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu had lit up the bright future for more children. Their love and passion deeply touched us. We hope to pass down this beautiful story to everybody on this feature webpage, and thereby enable more people to care for the environment and people surrounding us, then take actions and turn the society into a city of love and hope.

The Characters

Mommy Wu is a mother full of love. She loves children and shows concern for the society. Upon graduation of her own three children from senior high school, she has decided to become a foster family and contribute to society by giving shelter to more foster children. As of today, this love continues to sprout and grow…….

Daddy Wu is a great helper of Mommy Wu in the foster family. He is willing to listen to the foster children and is always ready to render assistance, as long as such ideas are good and positive. He is a good teacher and a strong backup in the foster family and he helped and accompanied Ahwen and Ahlong through the travails of life.

Coming from a family without love and care, Xiaowei had bad temper and was rude and tend to get into mischief. Everybody worried about him. Thanks to Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu, their “reverse education” has made Xiaowei a passionate, energetic, lovely and strong “little big man”. This is the first program of Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu.

Growing up under his father’s improper discipline and physical abuse, Ahwen had made it a habit to steal money. What’s worse, he was bad at emotion control and study. Thanks to Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu’s patience and guidance, he came to realize the serious consequences of violating the law and became a good child. He frequently returned to visit Daddy Wu and Mommy Wu. Ahwen is the most frustrating and helpless one of their foster children.

Ahlong was a lonely foster child, smart but he ignored other people. He locked himself up in his own tower and rejected all concerns from other people until Daddy Wu persistently backed him up. He started to remove his internal barrier and is now willing to accept others and show care for others as well! He is the most touching and pleasing one of their foster children.
