On the birthday of
Lu Ban (May 7 of lunar calendar), "the craft union of
Xiao Mu Hua Jiang Jin Sen Xing" will hold the tour of Lu
Ban during the day and banquets in the evening to
celebrate with the saint. Craftsmen believe that the
drinking of the birthday wine of Lu Ban may bless safety
for a whole year. |

The statue of Lu Ban in Lukang is worshiped in the home
of the Diviner. The statue has a long history. According
to Master Chin-fu Shih, it can be counted as one of the
best in Taiwan. |
Early in the
morning, after the worship in the home of the former
Diviner, a team of lion dance will welcome the god with
a deafening sound of gongs and drums to start the tour. |

marched great strength and vigor along with the sound of
firecrackers. |

the tour, the statue of Lu Ban was welcomed and placed
on the altar in the home of the new Diviner. The place
for the banquet had been set up |
Masters of the past of the craft union of "Xiao Mu Hua
Jiang Tuan Jin Sen Xing" was also worshiped. The faded
scrollbar indicated the long history. The most front two
were the founders¡XMaster Ke-chiu Li and Master Kuang-mao
Shih during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing
dynasty. |

Diviner by throwing divination wooden blocks symbolizing
the will of Lu Ban. |
