Dragon Trail is the most familiar trail to us, because from our school to go to Chengchi University along the riverbank, also go to Maokong, it is the most convenient trail to walk thru, we also arrange to walk it for our Tacha of our 6th grade course.

This trail has a COOL name Dragon, the reason to call Dragon, because this trail was built along the ridge, like a dragon. If you want to reach here from Maokong station, you may complete the Camphor Trail then move forward a bit, you will find the big letters "Zhang Shan Temple" on the hillside, move downward to reach Zhang Shan Temple. Zhang Shan Temple is one of the most famous temple in Maokong area, the temple consecrate GuanShiYin, the location of the temple is excellent, a very vast field of vision, with the temple chanting, very Zen. Here you can see a lot of hanging bells and drums, you can feel the sense for the ancient poem "Dawn Bell and twilight Drum" we read, Of course it’s a wonderful place for sunsetn and night view due to the broad view.

Dragon Trail is one of the Zhi Nan hiking trails, ls, there are stamping station to complete the activity of the 20th trails of “Taipei hiking fun”, from the Zhang Shan Temple downhill, the stairs are flat for easy walking, there are full of ecology good along the trail, full of fern and planted with Tong flowers, you can enjoy May Snow, close to the trail behind Chengchi University are planted of cherry blossom tree which a good place to view.

Don’t forget to walk into Chengchi University after complete the Dragon Trail, enjoy the academic atmosphere of the University!

Transportation:
You can find the trail entrance by the side of Zhang Shan Temple, move However, from the Zhang Shan Temple downhill, there is a cross road to Zhi Nan school, do not miss it is the Zhi Nan school trail. To up the hill from the mountain foot, to find the junction road around the Chengchi University to find the sign of Zhang Shan Temple, just walk upward straight to find it.
