Study of the Survey(questionnaire)

We collected people’s opinions on fortune telling through the survey.
In this question, 69% of the people believe the destiny can be changed, and 12% of the people don’t believe it. According to the numbers, most people believe destiny can be changed. Since they believe destiny can be changed, they look for practical ways to change it.
In this question, 42% of the people don’t believe that destiny has been arranged, but there are more people who believe in destiny or don’t have opinion than people who don’t believe in destiny. From the numbers, we see even though many people don’t have opinion about whether destiny has been arranged or not, there are still more people who don’t believe destiny has been arranged.
In this question, 57% of the people have the experience of drawing fortune sticks. However, only 2% of them often go to temple to draw fortune sticks, and 55% of them go to temple to draw fortune sticks only when they needed it. Besides, 43% of the people have never drawn fortune sticks. According to above, the percentage of people with drawing experience is nearly half, which is almost the same as the percentage of people without drawing experience, but people with drawing experience are a bit more than people without drawing experience.
From this question, we can see 79% of the people having drawing experience only use the drawn result as a reference, 15% of the people completely believe the drawn result, and 6% of the people don’t believe at all. From this, we can see most people only use the drawn result as a reference, and only a few people completely believe or don’t believe at all.
From this question, we see that 54% of the people have never gotten their fortune told, 45% of the people got their fortune told only when they needed it, and 1% of the people do it frequently. However, according to the previous question’s answers, 57% of the people have drawn fortune sticks in temple, which demonstrates that most of people consider going to temple for drawing fortune sticks when they got problems.
In this question, 93% of the people only use fortune telling as a reference, 5% of the people completely believe in it, and 2% of the people don’t believe at all. Thus, most of people do not totally depend on the fortune telling. Only a few people completely believe in it or do not believe in it at all.
62% of the people have never visited a fortuneteller for name fortune, and 38% of the people have done it. From the result, we can tell that most people don’t visit a fortuneteller for name fortune.
76% of the people only use name fortune as a reference, 18% of the people believe in name fortune, and 8% of the people don’t believe at all. Thus, most people use name fortune as a reference only.
According to the chart, 60% of the people have never used the lunar calendar or relevant books to predict their own or their family’s fortune, and 40% of the people have used relevant books to predict fortune. Thus, most people still tend to deal with the problems of life directly, instead of looking for solutions through fortune telling books.
According to the chart, 53% of the people never consider using the lunar calendar or relevant books to predict their own or their family’s fortune. In the previous question, 60% of the people have never used fortune telling books to predict their own or their family’s fortune too, which is a bit higher than this question. Thus, people usually don’t use the lunar calendar or fortune telling books, but they might passingly use these books to check their fortune. Both’s percentages are less than half though.
From this question, we see that 66% of the people have never used the fortuneteller online to predict their own or their family’s fortune, which is about the same as the percentage in the first question (people who have never visited fortunetellers). Thus, we could speculate that people who never visited fortunetellers should have never used the fortuneteller online.
From this question, we see that 65% of the people have never used the fortuneteller online to predict their own or their family’s luck, which is about the same as the percentage in the precious question (people who never used the fortuneteller online to predict their own or their family’s fortune). Thus, we could speculate that people who don’t use the fortuneteller online to predict their own or their family’s luck should have no interest in online fortune telling activities.
This question mainly signifies that among those who use books or fortuneteller online to predict fortune, instead of relying upon fortunetellers, 87% of the people only use fortune telling as a reference, 11% of the people don't believe in fortune telling, and 2% of the people completely believe in it. Besides, the 7th question shows that 93% of the people only use fortunetellers’ words as a reference. Thus, we conclude that most people only use fortune telling as a reference, no matter which kind of fortune telling they use.
